What is your favorite thing to bake? What baked good have you had the most success with? If theyβre different
ooh, that's hard.
I think my favorite thing to bake is the strawberry cake i make for my eldest's birthday. Fancy poundcake, swiss strawberry buttercream, whipped cream and macerated strawberries. i've done a cupcake version that's a little more complicated (homemade strawberry jam baked in the cakes) but fun My most successful, for my version of successful which is "everyone asks for the recipe and says they like mine when they don't usually like that sort of thing" is my spicy pumpkin bread, which is quite honestly just cake and has cayenne and black pepper in it!
