Sepik River — Beautiful Rivers

The Sepik River is one of the longest river in Papua New Guinea and one of the most scenic. The waterway passes through the mountain ranges of Sepik, the heart of the tropics. The Sepik is the longest river in Papua New Guinea at an incredible 11,912km. The river is drained by the five rivers of the Sepik — the Barak, Mangketa, Dambura, Jincu and Talam. Runoff from the tropical rainforest causes the flora of the river’s surface to change, going from lush to dry and vice versa. Its banks are a mosaic of green and white life — large areas of riverbank remain exposed and they stretch for miles in different directions. Rio Negro In Argentina, it is the world’s longest continuous river.

Mississippi River

Mississippi River is the second longest river in America and runs for 1,840 miles (2,833 km) from Lake Itasca to the Gulf of Mexico. There are eighteen dams in the Mississippi River and the mean discharge of the river is 247.6 million cubic feet (5.7 million m³) per day. The river reaches its delta in Louisiana, and joins the Mississippi River Delta, which is a narrow, deep bay, through two channels. Amur River The Amur River is located in China’s Far East and is also known as the Argun River. The length of this river is 690 miles (1,100 km). It originates from the Amur River Lake in the Japanese Sakhalin and enters the Pacific Ocean through the Angara Bay in Primorye. Champlain River The Champlain is the longest river in Canada, spanning 1,710 miles (2,569 km).

The Inga Falls on the Congo River The world’s greatest waterfall, the enormous and electrifying Inga Falls on the Congo River is located in the Congolese province of Maniema, and spans a distance of 865 meters. Yaqubi River The Yaqubi River runs for a distance of 412 miles in southeastern Iran, the highest dammed river in the Middle East.

Ganges River is one of the most popular rivers in the world. The water of this river originates from various melting glaciers in the Himalayas. It flows in a path through India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, and China. The Himalayan Glacier and other glacier area is an extremely important area for the rest of the planet and is a source of clean drinking water and raw materials for the life in general. Indus River The Indus River originates in a mountain in the Karakoram mountain range of northwestern Pakistan and flows northeastward through the northern part of Pakistan. The Indus river also flows through India, mainly in the north and central parts of the country. The Indus River flows from Punjab, through Sindh, and empties into the Arabian Sea.

Danube

One of the world’s largest rivers, the Danube runs from Germany through Hungary and Slovakia, before arriving into Austria and the Black Sea in Romania and Bulgaria. The river flows from Hungary, before crossing into Slovakia and Austria, where the Danube is known as the Rába. The Danube continues as the Morava River and is known as the Slovakian Danube. The Danube is known for its diverse culture, outstanding European lifestyle, and beautiful and picturesque shores. Vltava River The Vltava River runs through the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, and the Upper Hungarian region. The Vltava’s important role in the Czech history dates back to time immemorial. The river started as the Vltava and the Okavango River in the middle of the last Ice Age.

Yangtze River

It originates in the Great Bend of the Yellow River and continues through northern part of Hubei province and ends in the Huanghua River. It is a fabulous river because of its most beautiful water formations.

Worshipped as the river of life by ancient Egyptians, the Nile River has one of the widest widths and reaches from Lake Victoria to the Mediterranean Sea. The Mekong The Mekong River is known as the longest river in Asia. It extends from the Himalayas in the west to Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and China in the east. The Ganges River This is the second largest river in India after the Ganges River. It runs from the Himalayas in the west to the Bay of Bengal in the east. The Ganges and its tributaries are spread over a total of 2,615 kilometres (1,609 mi). The Amazon River The Amazon River stretches from Peru and Colombia in the north to Brazil in the south.

Cham-e-Darya The beautiful river cham-e-darya passes through Tajikistan and Afghanistan and has enormous curves. The water levels of the river rise up to 180ft in low regions while in the mountainous regions they go below the water level and reach up to 200ft.
