So I started reading the fanfic Miracle Child by @bramblepatch and fell in love with it. I mainly focused on the Indigo Bloods in this âas vinesâ video I made for it because I love her OCs and story so much.
Also, idk but something went wrong with the editing lol. I tried fixing it but eh it didnât work.

donât you walk away from me mister (sephar belongs to @bramblepatch, as usual inspired by @miraclechildask )
Rank your characters: best ass. (It's traditional, okay.)
Ruetto by far has the best ass. Â Itâs round, itâs plush, itâs got padding, itâs a feature that she really takes quite a bit of pride in, as a matter of fact. Â Sheâs got a nice, slightly chunky hourglass shape lately. Â And thereâs really nothing she likes more than wearing outfits that make it all the more obvious.
Sephar works very hard to have a nice butt.  Good exercise, a killer diet, and an active lifestyle does wonders, really.
If Denauriel could get off his ass and get his life back together, he would probably have the next best butt.  As it stands, itâs got potential, definitely, but heâs not completely there yet.  Soon.

Rank your characters! (I DON'T KNOW WHAT BLOG TO SEND THESE TO SORRY) Most romantic?
Oh boy, thatâs tough. Â
Speaking naturally, Denauriel has the biggest romantic streak in him.  Heâs probably the only one whoâll be charming and sweet with absolutely no ulterior motive.  If he knows itâll put a smile on a partnerâs face to be given roses or chocolates, heâll do it just to do it.
On the other hand, Sephar is probably the most connivingly romantic fellow on my character select screen.  Heâll turn the charm up to eleven if he thinks itâll get him somewhere, and even if it doesnât, heâll put up the act long enough to be graceful and then quietly lose interest.
But as far as hopeless romantics go, Saiâbariel is definitely the epitome of a classic hopeless romantic, fairy-tale devouring young lady, often with her head in the clouds, dreaming of some fantasy or another where a charming, rogue-ish but good-hearted fellow sweeps her off her feet and into an airship to be one with the sky.~
Cough. Â Maybe she should be on the top of the list.
Sephar
Sephar* was born to two humans, so it came as a surprise to everyone when they had distinctly elven pointed ears. The midwife is quickly hushed and Sepharâs parents pretend that Sepharâs ima, Ruti, has miscarried and on the very same day his tatti, Yacov, found a small elven child abandoned in the village square.
âa sign from the maker,â Yacov calls it.
Sephar grows up learning about the One God in secrecy. âThey are the parent of Andraste,â they teach, âAs they are the parent of us all. You must understand that only the people of the book are taught of the One God, and there are those out there that would harm you for knowing about them. Do not tell a soul, Sephechka**.â
Sephar doesnât tell a soul.
But Yakov dies, and Sephar, along with their ima, is kicked out of the village with only the clothes on their back.
Ruti helps her child bury her husbandâs body***, and says the mourning prayers**** from the book she carries with her everywhere, carefully handlettered letters in a long dead language on old yellowed paper.
She walks with her child for seven days, but on the eighth, her body gives up the fight against the bitter cold snow.
Her last words are âHear me, my people, god is our lord, god is one*****.â
Sephar carefully removes the prayer book from her too cold fingers. They bury her. They stand above the grave, tears frozen to their face and say the ancient prayers, just as their ima taught them.
It takes another seven days****** to reach the next village.
Sephar stumbles into Haven, cold, wet, unhappy, fingers clenched around the precious prayer book. A stranger approaches, but the buzzing in Sepharâs ears is too loud. They collapse, book pressed against their chest.
They wake up sometime later. They have been wrapped in warm blankets and their clothes have been changed. Their book is comfortingly within reach next to the straw pallet that they have been put on.
Sephar takes their time getting up, but they must get up. They know itâs a miracle that they havenât been lynched by those who know less than they do. Sephar stumbles out of the room, book in hand, blanket wrapped securely around them.
Thereâs yelling from the next room, and Sephar knows better than to enter, but it sounds like someone is in pain.
They open the door.
There is a ball rolling toward them.
They reach out to stop it.
The woman is saying something, but they canât hear. The world is green light and all they can do is hold on to their imaâs book as the world dissolves into nothing.
âHear me, my people, god is our lord, god is one,â they say.
--------
EDIT: whoops, forgot it isnât common knowledge, âimaâ is hebrew for mother and âtattiâ is (I think) yiddish for father. âAbbaâ is hebrew for father (pronounced ah-bah, please do not mention abba, the band)
*Sephar is not, as far as I know, an actual name. I took it from âsephardiâ which are jews descending from spain, portugal, italy, greece. Ruti and Yakov are 100% real names.
**Sephechka is a russian diminutive style nickname, taking a shortened version of a personâs name and then adding a cute little sound after that. Iâm not sure when I fell in love with this nicknaming style, but itâs really common among my russian friends. Plus, I like the implication that someone in Sepharâs family tree is not purely âsephardiâ (or the Thedosian equivalent) and hails from a place where such conventions are common.
***jews are buried as soon as possible, no waiting around.
****this is called âkaddishâ and is usually said with a congregation. But Sephar and Ruti donât have a congregation and saying it with meaning is better than not saying it at all.
*****This is a tweaked translation of the shema, one of the most important of the jewish prayers. It is said twice a day, once upon waking up and once before going to sleep. Sometimes it is said additional times if one is praying in synagogue. The words of the shema are âshema yisrael [G-D] elohainu [G-D] echadâ, literally âhear, oh israel, the lord is our god, the lord is oneâ. Obvs I couldnât use that in a world with different religious building blocks and context to ours, so I tweaked it to make sense in the DA world.
******there is a custom that for seven days after someone close to one dies, one sits shiva. Shiva is, basically, a mourning period, where one is not expected to be okay. Mourners gather in one home to mourn together. They are not expected to make themselves food, neighbours make food for them, and they are not expected to do anything but remember their loved one and pray for the period of seven days. Again, this is a community thing, and Sephar doesnât have this, but I thought the symbolism was nice. Additionally: it takes Sephar 15 days to get to Haven
