Bukit Gambang resort at Langkawi?
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 2:
Sentoria Group Bhdβs unit, Sentoria Langkawi Sdn Bhd, has sealed agreements with the Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) to lease 48ha of Malay reservation land for RM41.382 million.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, it said the lease agreements involved 28ha at Bandar Padang Mat Sirat for RM30.492 million.
The company will also lease 20ha at Tempat Bukit Tekoh, Tempat Bukit Carok Nyak Mud, for RM10.89 million.
βThe agreements provide for the lease of the land for 90 years commencing Sept 1, 2014 to Aug 31, 2104,β it said.
Sentoria said the lease would enable the group to expand its business into northern Peninsular Malaysia and enhance future recurring leisure and hospitality income to create sustainable growth.
The leased land will enable Sentoria to develop a premium resort city and medical village to cater for overseas tourists and investors. Sentoria operates the Bukit Gambang resort near Kuantan.
