Should I make a blog for Sentinel?

I should.

“You! In the silver! The one they’re obviously listening too! Who are you?”

Prime’s helmet turns back towards the reporter as the Sentinels climb onboard a dropship, voice modulated by his helmet.

“You may call me…. Sentinel Prime.”

“You’re a drama Queen, Prime.”

I now realize the way I phrased that post made it seem like it was a Halo AU. 😅😅

It isn’t. It’s essentially just “Hey what if a benevolent organization of soldiers who happen to have humans as well as other races swooped down from the stars and stopped us all from killing each other”.

But to answer your questions!

The daily life of a Sentinel is crazy as hell. They aren’t exclusively military. They respond to everything.

It starts off where they hide from the people of Earth because y’know, aliens. Who happen to be human.

So they work in the shadows at the start before they’re discovered. They respond to massive forest fires, building collapses, particularly violent criminals, terror threats, all sorts. They have crazy tech that allows them to deal with these things like a piece of cake.

The leadership structure isn’t too complex, standard military. Mostly. Lieutenants, Sergeants, all the cliche ranks. But what’s most interesting is how the manpower is divided.

The largest unit is a Corps, split up into several task forces (those are split down into regular military units) that each handle a region.

Task Force Viking (Europe and Scandinavia)

Task Force Cossack (Russia)

Task Force Spartan (The Balkans and support for Viking and Zulu)

Task Force Immortal (The Middle East)

Task Force Zulu (Africa)

Task Force Samurai (Asia)

Task Force Gajamada (Oceania and the Pacific Islands)

Task Force Hiawatha (North and Central America)

Task Force Bolivar (South America and Antarctica)

(All those names are history references)

My person favorite character is Sentinel Prime. Big surprise that he’s the leader of Sentinel. All the Sentinels have real names, but they also take a codename. Prime is… well… Prime because he was the first Sentinel. His left and right hands are Sentinel Aegis and Sentinel Nebula. (He also more or may not be in love with Nebula. Think… a mix of Padme and Sabine.)

Prime is classic tragic backstory boi. His planet got fucked up, so he left. Went on a generic nomadic shcpeal until he discovered a dormant vessel. Lo-and-behold there was a single survivor in a suit of armor with a logo on it.

Sentinel.

That lone survivor listened to Prime’s story, and then gave him the moniker of Sentinel Prime.
