this is what i think the body map would like.. i think the hair would be thinner in some places and thicker in others

honestly i’m not super well-versed in baseball compared to hockey, but if i had to pick based on cate’s vibe and build, i’d say she feels like an outfielder?

she’s quick, observant, and reactive rather than super physical, and out fielders often need a good arm pun intended and sharp awareness without constantly being in the thick of collisions or scrambles. it also fits her being a little more strategic and watchful—seeing the whole field, reading what’s about to happen, and moving fast when it counts.

i could also maybe see her at shortstop? in a more athletic version of her, since that position requires good instincts and fast reactions, but personality-wise outfield feels the most cate to me.

could this be mariecate worthy... (baseball rivals like the heated rivalry 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 they're a little horny [cate gets her first boner when they compete head to head] but they really do look out and love each other like crazy...)

meanwhile i went bowling with my coworkers yesterday (and won😌) and now i’m genuinely shocked i didn’t also walk away with a mysterious injury since apparently the cate cult has once again decided to curse the masses.
