One of the new features on the Tamagotchi Pix is the ability to schedule a meet up, it’s one that we enjoy a lot! You don’t need to have a meet up the moment you connect the two Tamagotchi Pix devices together, it can be scheduled in the near future, and this is coordinated through sending and receiving mail. It’s really simple, and we’ll walk you through how to get the most out of this feature.

To send and receive mail, you’ll have to navigate to the Connect icon in the menu bar. From there you’ll need to select “Meet Up” which will allow you to set up a meet up to play with a friend’s Tamagotchi character. Sending mail allows you to write an invitation to send to your friend, whereas get mail allows you to receive an invitation from your friend.

To create an invitation, select “Send Mail” and choose who you want to send the invitation to, or select anyone. It is important to note that you must have already connected with that friend prior to see them listed. You’ll then need to choose a meet up, which will always be tomorrow, however you need to select the time.

The options are 12PM, 3PM, and 5PM. You can even bring meals or snacks with you as a gift, choose the item you want to bring from your fridge. It is important to note that if you do bring a gift, you will no longer have that item. If you don’t want to bring a gift, then choose “Do not choose”.

After your selections are made select “yes” to the prompt “is this okay?” And then a Tama Code will display on your screen. Your friend will need to scan that Tama Code on their Tamagotchi Pix in order to successfully schedule the meet up.

When you have a meet up scheduled, you’ll see a clock icon on your Tamagotchi Pix in the upper left-hand corner. Once it’s time to meet up, an alarm will sound and your Tamagotchi will automatically go to play. The meet up will last 10 minutes, and your Tamagotchi will automatically return. You also cannot call the sitter the day of a meet up, so be careful!

Receiving mail is a little bit different. From the Connect icon in the menu bar, select “Meet Up” and then select Receive. The built-in camera will activate and you can then scan an invitation Tama Code that your friend has created in the Meet Up feature. Once the code is scanned, you’ll see the envelope on screen followed by the message which will display from the sender and provide information on the date and time of the meet up.

When it’s time to meet up, tap the “B” button when the alarm sounds, then your friend’s Tamagotchi will come over to play. If you don’t tape the “B” button within 5 minutes of the meet up time, the meet up will be cancelled. If you’re not hosting on your Tamagotchi Pix, you’ll see a “I’m Out” sign hanging in your living space until your Tamagotchi returns back.

Create Auth Service

Remove TypeStrict Errors

Make sure "strict" is set in order to avoid strict type warnings or errors: false, "noImplicitReturns": false, and "strictTemplates": false in the tsconfig.json file's compilerOptions and angularCompilerOptions attributes.
