Saw that post and died, so I doodled a thing (How can I not? <x’DD) Now that Yasu gets a TMR set too, I can fool around with it and make cool poses with Tadatsugu *__* Poses based on this and this. TMR is cool OuO,,b

[Damn old character sheet (made half a year ago?). Thought I’d redraw the whole thing, but no time, so here goes~... TvT;;;]

[Office AU] (collab AU with Mune-chan) Two huge companies located on opposite sides of a huge street in the middle of the city, the Tokugawa to the East side and the Ishida to the West, were in a never ending competition to seize the market ever since the fall of the gigantic Toyotomi Corporation. They continuously compete to get the best workers and make the best products for the city. Aside from that, bosses and members have to help each other get through stress and daily life problems OuO,,

Notes: - the street in the middle is called the Sekigahara Street :D - Masamune is the East side’s new recruit. - Mune-chan and I actually made a Zombie Apocalypse AU with this setting o.O;; Happening on the day Masamune is supposed to get a promotion, the two companies were forced to work together to survive @u@

Ieyasu: - CEO of the Tokugawa Corporation. - Tadatsugu usually tails him around.

- One of the two kids adopted and trained by Hanbei in the past (the other being Mitsunari), as he saw potential in them. - Ieyasu was trained as one of the potential heirs to the Toyotomi Corporation. But after knowing that they were planning to control the entire city through the market, decided to break off, bringing the entire Toyotomi Corp. down in the process. [Hanbei died of illness. Hideyoshi passed away in the process.] He works for himself now. - Mitsunari, who’s always thankful and loyal to the Toyotomi (especially its boss Hideyoshi), was enraged by this and wanted revenge. Deciding to compete against Ieyasu with the wish of eventually bringing back the Toyotomi.

- Although the Tokugawa markets various products, they focus a lot on communication systems and devices. Ieyasu had always liked the connection between people and would love to bring the people of the city closer together if he could. He believes that communication is the key to a good development for the entire city. [On the other hand, the Ishida side had more varied products, although furniture and electronics seemed to be the main part since they have both Motochika and Motonari working for them. Yoshitsugu is good at reading the market and will ask Mitsunari to aim for the current trends.]

[SB Dystopian AU] (setting)

[Plot]

Engulfed in continuous wars for a long time, the country had split up into multiple small factions and had become relatively weak. In the midst of that, Toyotomi Hideyoshi rose in power, commanding his troops to defeat the others in order to unify the land, aiming to create a stronger united country in future.

Believing in Hideyoshi's noble cause and his abilities to make it come true, Ieyasu had joined in and soon became one of the Toyotomi's leading generals. They united the lands together and peace came over the country for a period of time.

But then Hideyoshi ruled with an iron fist, mercilessly crushing anyone who stood in his way. Following Hideyoshi's vision, the country became a place where power was everything and there was no place for the weak. When he aimed to take over the world through more wars, Ieyasu decided to turn against him, declaring that he would take down his lord.

Another war began.

Ieyasu:

- One of the Toyotomi's two top generals, alongside Mitsunari. Served the Toyotomi with great loyalty as he believed that uniting the land would bring peace in the end.

However, after seeing Hideyoshi's cruelty when crushing the Hojo at Odawara (the last land they had to take), seeing the victims' suffering, and knowing Hideyoshi's wish to continue the wars overseas, he realized that it wasn't the future he wanted, so he turned against the Toyotomi.

- Couldn't sit with the fact that Hideyoshi was planning on ruling the world through power and force.

- Secretly broke off the Toyotomi and attempted to assassinate Hideyoshi during one of his speeches, but failed. As a result, he was now the country's most wanted fugitive, with a one hundred million ryou prize on his head, and Mitsunari continuously running after him with a grudge.

- Taken in by the Resistance after his escape from the Toyotomi. Currently the only member there who knows how the Toyotomi works from the inside as he used to work there. Motochika, who was leading the Resistance before he came, passed the 'Leader' rank to him as he felt that Ieyasu is better suited for that position, being the ex-general of a huge army and knowing more about the Toyotomi.

- Previously the leader of Division Two of Hunters before he left the Toyotomi with his entire Division (Tokugawa Faction). The seat of the Second Division is now empty and Hanbei was looking for a replacement.

- Needed to defeat Hideyoshi quickly before he could finish preparing his troops or else it would turn into a world war.

- Betraying Hideyoshi, whom he had sworn loyalty to, earned him the name of the 'Trickster', 'Liar' or 'Tanuki' among the countrymen and the majority. But to those in the slums, the Resistance, and those against the Toyotomi, he was referred to as the 'Light of the East', as one who dared to defy the Toyotomi and brought a ray of hope back to the people.

SciFi AU + scientist!Matsunaga + little bro!Takechiyo ouo;;

Yoshiteru, as a leading scientist, had discovered a way to modify himself so that he surpasses all of mankind. Knowing his mistake of discovering such power, he decided to keep it secret to prevent any abuse.

Matsunaga, simply interested in finding out that secret method, wanted to infiltrate Yoshiteru's lab so that he could get his hands on his research. So he gathered the most able people, replaced their memories, and brainwashed them to work under him. [Masamune, Kojuro and several others were among them.]

However, he found that he couldn't meddle with one of his key subjects' (Ieyasu's) memories or brainwash him. Ieyasu believed that it was his bonds with the people in his past that kept everything in his head intact.

[Extra translation/notes: In Utage, Hisahide also refers to Ieyasu as a 'caged sun'. So I shall play with that *_* Also, basically in that one stage, Hisahide came to that battle to hear Ieyasu's true feelings, which he never got to do because the latter wouldn't tell him. So this AU's setting's like, if instead of killing Ieyasu there, Hisahide had taken him along as another one of his spoils of war instead >u>;;]

Post Matsugahara!Ieyasu: - Captured and kept in a cage in the room where Hisahide kept his collection of treasures/objects. - Had tried to escape many times before, but it had been in vain and any type of resistance was punished. It reached a point where he finally decided to accept his fate and do everything he was told to. - Used to cry a lot, but had kind of stopped by now. Still cried every once in awhile when thinking of everyone outside and regretting his current situation. - Hisahide sees him only as an object. There's no need for Ieyasu to have feelings, or any thoughts about his past or the situation of the world outside after he was captured. Simply existing in his cage was enough.

- Although he usually followed orders, the only thing he wouldn't do was to let Hisahide have what he wanted--what the latter called his 'song'. It was probably the only thing he had left that could keep Hisahide from killing him. Although on the surface he seemed to have given up, deep down, Ieyasu still believed that if he waited long enough, perhaps someone might just come here and save him. Hisahide, interested in seeing how much more twisted Ieyasu can become if left that way, decided to play along.
