Sheriff Stan Sniff and the #PerrisSheriffzsatstion On Tuesday, December 20, 2017, held a special Christmas party for a very special child. Aydian Dammer of Menifee is in the fight of his life against cancer, and he hopes to one day be a sheriff’s deputy. When Aydain arrived at the station he was sworn in as a special deputy of the day and wore a specially made Department uniform tailored by Galls Uniform. During a role playing scenario, Aydian arrested the notorious “International Present Thief” who had attempted to ruin Christmas by stealing gifts from the community. Aydain toured the station and inspected a variety of Department equipment. He was particularly impressed with the Cal-Fire ladder truck from Perris Station 90. Aydain met our SWAT team members and our Helicopter crew, after which he, his brothers and sister were treated to lunch with Santa Claus and Christmas gifts. The Perris Sheriff's Station family would like to thank the Dammer family for allowing us to share in their lives and Aydian’s inspirational fight. We would also like to thank our dedicated staff, volunteers and community partners who made this such a special day for Aydain and his family. Thank you to Assemblywoman Melissa Melendez, Heather Perry of #SenatorMikeMorrell’s office, Altie Holcomb of Senator Richard Roth’s office, Dennis Gutierrez of Supervisor Marion Ashley’s office, Menifee Councilman John Denver (aka Santa), Mike McDermott for the city of Perris, Ali Mazarei Owner of Arco Travel Zone Center, Perris Chamberand Matt Johnson owner of Wren’s Ranch Sportsmen’s Park and our partners at Cal-Fire who were all present with gifts and certificates to support the newest member of the Perris Station family. A special thanks goes out to Riverside Trophies & Plaques for donating the plaque; Galls Uniform for donating Aydain's uniform; Riverside Spousal Support Group for donating the food, and our very own Chuck & Pam Santone of Nuevo Citizen’s on Patrol for their generous gifts to the family. May God and the blue angles watch over you Aydain. (at Riverside Co Sheriff-Perris Station)
