the grandson of lucinda talkalot, so u kno, quidditch is his Shit. currently keeper for ravenclaw and he’s trying his best to play professionally

growing up, his dad ( the son of lucinda & who fought in the second wizarding war ) drilled into him quidditch & even tho micah LOVES quidditch with his whole heart, he’s always trying to get better and tbh he pushes himself too hard sometimes #tea

like his dad’s side ( the wizarding side ) has always had something to do with quidditch, whether they play it, coaches, refs, fuckin reporters it doesnt matter, the pitch is where the talkalots belong okay

anyways his mum is a muggle and micah’s lowkey a momma’s boy bc while him and his dad bonded over quidditch...that’s all they had in common

his mum’s a spitfire and he writes her ( tho he does talk to his father ) letters bc he misses her sm

 a lot of his personality can be attributed to her bc his dad’s a chill guy, but his mum’s the sassy one, quite the #Savage

like he doesn’t put up with any shit and it creates some problems, esp if someone is being a jerk and talking about his muggle mom ( like momma’s boi on a mission he’ll fight someone ), like he throws hands all the time so he’s served a couple detentions for it

when he first got to hogwarts, he was a hatstall, tied between gryffindor and ravenclaw 

while he’s brave enough to stand up for what he believes in, intelligence is something he treasures the most, which is why he was sorted into ravenclaw

like he’s super duper smart but he doesnt try as hard as nearly any other ravenclaw lbr, he’d rather be on the pitch, not studying

hello, pals ! it’s ya girl, eleni, straight outta the gmt+2 timezone. i recently fell in love with sydney sweeny ( if you haven’t watched netflix’s everything sucks yet, i highly suggest you do ) & decided that i needed to bless your guys’ dash with her beautiful face. please note that i hate playing my character as the fc’s role just bc im using them.

so, without further ado, here are a few facts about antigone:

she’s penelope clearwater’s only daughter

she’s the result of an unwanted pregnancy; her father left penelope as soon as he found out she was expecting a child. she never met her father.

being fatherless used to bother her when she was younger, but she grew out of it pretty fast. she now has a muggle step-dad, whom she adores and looks up to as if he was her biological father.

much like her mother, antigone is a perfectionist overachiever. she is bright, practical and a great problem solver; an exceptional student overall. however, such excellence has it’s drawbacks. she has anxiety issues, which she usually supresses unknowingly. she can competitive and judgemental of other people, especially in her worst days. she just gotta be the  b e s t  !!!11! you feel??

she has a kind heart, though, don’t get her wrong. she only has a few close friends, for whom she cares deeply and would do anything for. she can offer great company, from interesting small talk to very deep conversations. warning: her humour isn’t her best quality. i would love for your character to feel super awkward after hearing a joke of hers tbh give her hell.

she is a closeted bisexual. sO MUCH INTERNALISED BIPHOBIA. she has no experience with girls and still thinks she’s Straight™. 

basically, she is a mess, but who isn’t, really. only a few things that are likable about her, but i’m here to change that !!! i can’t wait to write with you guys omg

okay so this is my trash child niamh

she was born to a muggle bother in ireland, the product of a fling between an engaged wizard visiting from america over the summer. her mother was only seventeen at the time and quickly grew very attached to dominic, who was older than her. when she told him she was pregnant, he left her and returned to america, leaving her mother, aiyla, devastated. 

despite wishing to keep niamh, her being a piece of the not so wonderful summer love she could hold onto, aileen was severely injured in child birth and would soon die from the traumatic birth, leaving niamh orphaned.

news of her death reached dominic in america and he had niamh transferred to a wizarding orphanage, though he would never lie eyes on his daughter.

however, it was in this orphanage were she would get adopted, just before her first birthday and thus found a new life with seamus and dean finnigan-thomas.

niamh loves her dads more than anything in the world. they are her sun and her stars and she is forever grateful for the life they gave her and bringing her up in such a beautiful and loving environment. 

they are huge influences on her activism and one of the reason why she is so unafraid to speak her mind. will throw hands to anybody who insults them or insults her friends. probably threw toy trucks and people that looked at her dads weird in kindergarten 

has the same type of love with her friends, would throw hands in 0.2 seconds

niamh was a very full on child, constantly full of energy and having a dramatic flair from a young age. though dean and seamus had intended to adopt again, they had found this child to have their work cut out for them, and they were not the richest family, living in a small cottage on the outskirts of the city.

they did however, periodically foster children in need, these some of the best times of niamh’s life as she was always a social child and had wished for a big family like she had seen growing up beside the longbottoms and the potters. i have a wanted connection up for this and i would adore for someone to take it up ! niamh would have been very attached to those siblings and no matter where they ended up, would still consider them as part of her family.

though, knowing the story of her adoption and the comings and goings of foster children left her with some bad attachment issues. she keeps her social circle as large as possible and is terrified of growing too close to someone, afraid that they will only leave her hurt, as so many did in the past. 

though she is a tough flower and doesn’t like to show off her weaknesses to many. 

she was a very spazzy child and had a very short attention span as a child, especially when beginning hogwarts. she used to always wear her hair in a braid she did herself and had to get her friends to teach her about make up 

now, she hasn’t changed all the much, physcially maturer and somewhat emotionally, but she is still just as lively and fiesty as she was as a child

she is very sporty, into running why bitch and into quidditch, a beater for the gryffindor team. 

she is not the most responsible however, always getting into trouble for something and has a very do now, think later sort of attitude.

loves a good party

generally just a very sociable person, she loved meeting other people and just being in the midst of everything. 

her one true passion besides sports would be astronomy, you can always find her out looking at the stars if she’s feeling low and wanted to be an astronaunt until the age of 7 until she found out what it required and decided it was too much work

she is at the same time very emotional while not emotional at all, she has many emotions that she suppresses to they tend to come out in weird bursts. 

she’s the type of person you’d go to if you needed cheering up, not really the type of person you’d want to ask advice on things however. though if you did she would really try and do her best to give u good advice ok even if it wasnt

honestly where do i start?? she’s like... the poster child for growing up around strong women like her great grandmother, while awful to neville sometimes sure, was def someone who violet could listen to forever. definitely where she gets her pigheadedness and pride from, thanks augusta. and then there’s her mother hannah?? who’s like,,, the nicest person in violet’s eyes and always taught her to be kind and look on the bright side and see the beauty in everything and then there’s ginny potter who she grew up around and she IDOLISES that woman it’s insane

has a competitive streak a mile long. on a scale between one and insane, she’s creeping on oliver wood levels. it’s just?? she has a bad case of middle child syndrome and yes, she knows that her parents love all their kids equally, she couldn’t help but feel overshadowed when she was a kid. so she got a little competitive and a little loud and it’s only gotten worse as she got older. the fact that she wants to go pro with quidditch didn’t help, only fuelling her need to win

as captain, she likes to think she’s fair but sometimes she can take it too seriously. once you get violet going on something she’s passionate about, there’s no stopping her and well... she forgets that no one else wants to get up at the crack of dawn to run drills. the moment someone (the right someone though and that’s a short list) tells her to chill out and take a step back she’ll do so.

having lived above a pub for the majority of her life (and even just in diagon alley where there are people galore), it’s really made violet a social little bee. she likes to think she can sit down and make friends with just about anybody and that’s usually the case. frienship is such a big thing to violet and she cherishes all of her friends and is the first one there to back you and support you, whether it be a fight or you need someone to make you laugh. loyalty is a big thing for her

huge herbology nerd but like... not the biggest. it’s definitely one of her favourite subjects and in the rare moment violet likes to be alone, you’ll find her at the greenhouses or at the pitch. if her dreams of playing quidditch professionally don’t happen, she’ll most likely go into herbology or being an auror but... she doesn’t really want to think about that

family is such an important thing to violet? like the most important. considering her entire family (bar a sibling or two) is at hogwarts, it’s hard to find a place that a longbottom isn’t. nevertheless, violet would die for all of them, but especially poppy, her younger sister. violet adores her mother but she wishes she didn’t work in a bloody hospital. violet’s also quite adaddy’s girl, despite the fact she’ll tease him nonstop. oh, and if you ever threaten violet’s family (biological and the people she holds closest to her heart, see: niamh finnigan-thomas and others) she will go into fight mode.

when she was a little girl, she was that weird kid who always had her nose in a book rather than playing on the playground. she’d rather live vicariously through heroines in books and totally believed in fairies and mermaids and goblins. the other kids poked fun but she’d seen one and she knew

when cordy found out she belonged in the world she’d always dreamed about she was ecstatic. like absolutely nothing could wipe the grin off her face?? 

she went a little overboard before her first year started and read all the books she get her hands on. she wanted to be well prepared, for this was her future and she couldn’t wait

as she got older, cordy came out of her shell quite a lot. when she started school she was a timid lil mouse and now in her last year, she’s really blossomed and has become super confident and sociable and i’m just a proud mother

is the friendliest

if you don’t know her by name you definitely know her by her smile

a complete mother bear. like super protective and worrisome and she just wants everyone to be happy. she’s the type to go out of her way for someone

just really lovely

she’s the kind of girl that would come to your aid, no matter what, armed with homemade cookies and a shoulder to cry on or some pathetically funny jokes to cheer you up. you can’t help but believe her when she says “don’t worry, everything’s going to be okay.” utterly reliable, not one to let others down, and a friend to all 

she’s more of a listener than a talker... unless you get her on a certain subject. then her eyes light up and she’s off rambling

cordy throws herself into a lot of extra curricular activities to busy herself and take her mind off unpleasant things. she also tutors and has excellent grades and you gotta wonder how she does it she doesn’t sleep that’s why

if you ask cordelia what she wants to do with her future, you better buckle in for a fifteen minute ramble. her dream would be a potioneer by day, an astronomer by night all while working on three different volumes about magical creatures

newt scamander is her fucking idol

her favourite class is care of magical creatures and she decided as of last november that that’s what she’s going to pursue once she leaves hogwarts (after all, it was magical creatures she believed in in the first place)

she wants to study merpeople and perhaps write a book or two on them before moving onto a different topic

she does super well in all her classes and is near top in her favourites but no one can beat her out when it comes to comc sorry

she gets a little competitive when it comes to her grades

it’s kinda scary actually, it’s a side of her that hardly anyone ever sees

she’s the girl that get’s teachers to go off on different tangents and completely forget what they’re supposed to be teaching

speaking of love, cordelia hassan is the most hopeless romantic in the world. she falls in love with everything and i’m a little worried about her. someone holds the door open for her? she’s thinking about it for the whole day. someone compliments her? she falls a little more in love. poor girl. it’s never really come to anything because she dreams more about the idea of someone than the actual person but someday.

archie is the worst person on planet earth ever this is #facts

born into the blood purist rowle family, he is the first born of thorfinn rowle and social climber adair rowle née cavendish and little did they know they were going to produce actual satan as a child

he is such a mummy’s boy, his family is extremely close, though archibald has always been more distant from his father, the social outcast of the family, adair only marrying him for his money and his name, a twenty year age difference between his parents. however, adair is an extremely caring mother and loves both archie and his sister, margaery with her whole heart and being an incredibly ambitious woman wants the best for not only herself, but her children first

thus, both archie and maggie were brought up on a silver spoon --- nothing but the best since they were children. this attitude still very prominent at this time in their lives and it fits in nicely with the clichéd pureblood rich kid

he loves his sister more than anything, incredibly overprotective, perhaps definitely bordering on too overprotective. maggie will always be his baby sister and anybody who hurts her will not only have her to deal with, but him too. despite this and their similarities, they bicker and fight constantly

this is archie if you cross him

despite his sadistic nature, he is a very calm and relaxed person and doesn’t really have a temper, he is the one who is annoyingly good at everything they do without trying. he gets excellent grades at school while still looking #cool

he is generally very uninvolved in school, he sees little point in clubs or quidditch, and would prefer brooding alone or with his #squad which consists of evil raziela and evil maggie and he had no other friends tbh but i do have a connection up for some if your babe would be crazy enough to put up with this demon. but he is very good at duelling, but sees little point in showing off his talents to others

is one of the founders of the dark arts club, awful people only allowed ! pushed by his mum as well, he is determined to restore any glory to a tainted name from the war before 

personality wise he is awful !!!

though calm and quite reserved, he is very cruel and sadistic, tires of people easily and will threaten your life easily and one of the people that actually means it

in a good mood as of late, a Big Fan of the death of the minister for magic and excited at his gramps reappearance as well as the escape of some of the wizards he has always looked up to.

astraea is named after the goddess of justice, because her parents believe that justice will be served rightly to the purebloods like them for trying to keep the legacy alive through the next generation (aka like herself, which she faithfully believes in.)

the greatest irony of all here is: SHE’S NOT EVEN A PUREBLOOD (dun dun dunn)

as scandalous at it is, the pureblood line of the extremist Carrows has been tainted right under their noses

arranged marriages are mandatory to traditional pureblood families, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that they are HAPPY about it. 

astraea’s mother wasn’t happy in her marriage, despite her husband’s status as a carrow. her unhappiness doubled down further as she thought she couldn’t bear a child since they’ve been trying for YEARS about this and no dice. 

as this put a wide crack in their marriage, her mother began to sought out happiness in other aspects of her life through her hobbies and casual traveling. that’s where she started an affair with a muggle man. eventually, this led to the conception of darling astraea

why with a muggle man, you ask? mostly because she thought she was barren anyways and there’s no way in hell she could taint the bloodline if she can’t get any pregnant. PLUS it’s easier to cheat on your husband if he wouldn’t even BREATHE into the direction of the muggle world. (she’s obviously wrong on the first part ofc)

obviously, once she got pregnant, she just went BYE AF to the muggle man and let mister carrow believe that he was the father of this child she’s carrying.

unfortunately, as astraea grew up, her father seemed to notice that there’s just something OFF about her. like,,,,, you know,,,,,, she doesn’t even look like him. 

that’s why her father has always been so hard on her while growing up. meanwhile, astraea’s does EVERYTHING just to appeal and appease her (not) father’s love for her in all aspects of her life... even if she doesn’t really want to do it.

it doesn’t really help that she was diagnosed with ADD, which certainly made school hard for her to excel  with. and it just fills her with absolute shame that she, a ravenclaw student, has a learning deficiency. she was supposed to be all smart and witty and acing all the classes! but she couldn’t live up to the status quo because of that and it just sucks for her.

only her mother and a selected few knows about this because merlin forbid if her father finds out that his daughter has a weakness

it’s hard!!! because her father already sees her as weak because of her gentle and serene nature — which is a HUGE contrast to the trademark carrow cruelness (tm)

BUT!!!!! don’t get fooled!!! she would use that trademark demeanour + her intelligence of hers to bring someone down on their knees as she blindside the shit out of them. but she only uses it when she’s very angry or in a desperate clutch. she prefers being the background strategist rather than a fighter among her peers tbh.

she’s pro-death eater due to the fact that believes that this could be the way she could prove herself to her dad that she is worthy of his attention and love ok

astraea mostly shies away from muggleborns in general because she (feels like she) have to and she got the reputation as a carrow to uphold. like she’s not the one to trash talk them but she just avoids them in general.

rumour has it she sometimes tutors lower level muggleborns of her house, but whenever asked she would always deny it
