If you speak any of the languages listed below you would greatly help me out if you could teach me LGBT+ vocabulary, either through DMs or just in the replies/reblogs. I'm building a global LGBT+ dictionary but some languages are just harder to access in my side of the world.

One day I gotta talk a little bit about the Selk'nam tribe, formerly located in Chile. As late as in XIX century they were hunted down as if they were animals, and Chile did nothing to stop it. Fortunately, nowadays there's still a tiny ammount of people with Selk'nam roots trying to recover what is left of their culture.
They had quite a unique mythology, designs for the supernatural, and beliefs. Like most ''isolated'' cultures, their way of portraying the world around them was quite peculiar.
That's what happens when a country leaves it's people on their own. That's what could have happened to the North Sentinel islanders (I talked about them here), if the indian goverment didn't step in to protect them.
But that's for another day. I promise I'll come back to this soon, my adhd will force me to!
