There was a small part of him that felt bad for his attempt at avoiding his sisters -- well, avoiding two out of three of them -- but being the private person that he was, he really just wasn't in the mood for the questions, the speculation. Perhaps it was on him for bringing a date to an event they were all attending in the first place, but he also didn't want to live his life constantly thinking about their potential reactions. Which is obviously why it was better for to just duck in every corner when he spotted them -- until he couldn't. "I gotta say, Sel, you give these bartenders a run for their money." Dev remarked when he finally ran into his youngest sibling, a sip of his own gin and tonic taken. "You just get here?" He asked, as if he hadn't spotted her or the others an hour ago.
