It's so easy to be tricked by love if you don't have a proper concept of love. I see a lot of folks confuse, lust, and romantic love for unconditional love and the concepts are wildly different. People with lust will confuse it with romance when your main concern is the physical act of sex. It'll have you thinking your in love with a person that's in love with how good your pussy feels or how good the dick is or just because your fine. Thats why people get ghosted. The life span for this type of "love" is short because of the superficiality of it all. Its surface level. Its basic.
Romantic love is the kind I think we see the most of today on social media. The cute pics with matching clothes, the long post about why they "love" the person they are with, the matching outfits in public. Nothing wrong with this. I think most long term relationships are like this. However don't be fooled. While I do believe in the concepts of soul mates or love at first sight, I do believe more in getting to know a person for who they are. It's so easy to be blinded by rose colored lenses of who you are actually dealing with. And when the glasses come off it's to late. Your heart is already given away and the cost to get it back is great. Those qualities we thought we saw were an illusion born out of lust.
Then It's the truest, most rarest form of love. Unconditional love is something you see the least. Often confused with romantic love, this form of love knows no bounds. This is the kind of love parents display to their children. The type of love God gives to us. Accordingly when this love is given to a child it plants a seed of self love deep within them. Over time the seed grows and that love blooms in a way where its warm, and inviting. It grows to be permanent, strong and unwavering even if it seems to have withered up. It never diminishes. Only needs replenishment. The most coveted of the types of love because when peope see it in you they crave it. No matter how bad you fuck up, no matter how deprived of lust or romantic love you are you just keep on loving yourself and in turn you share it. When those with bad intentions towards you try to blind you with romance the flower of self love grows further and denies any harm done to you. This is the stuff healthy relationships are made of. Any two people with self love recognize this as not something to manipulate but something to appreciate. The love for ones self to grow and steady progress in love.
