I didn't know what color to give Jim's jacket and didn't want it to feel like a stolen idea or design. When I was working on the sketch, just and simply drew him in his jacket and sweater, found myself debating with myself when I was on the Lineart: "What color would suit you?"... The purple from his original jacket and with the red sweater, it would look strange... Yellow, no, very Negsy's suit and he is supposed to be dressed in civilian clothes and "I had no choice" but to give him the color black.
