Our projectiles defy the rule that a bullet has to be going 2200fps for temporary cavities to matter. With jacketed hollow points yes, that rule has some merit. But that's not how our projectiles work. When our projectile come in contact with fluid, hydraulic pressure builds until the side walls explode, causing the bullet to fragment in a starburst pattern. Compare the Civil Defense 10mm going 2400 FPS and the Civil Defense 45 ACP going 1900 FPS. Both came out of 5 inch barrels. Nearly identical temporary cavities. But wait, the 45 is only going 1900 FPS? Same thing with our 357 Sig going 2300 FPS. The 2200 FPS doesn't apply. Our 45 ACP competitively rivals 223s on temporary cavity diameter and they're going much faster than 2200 FPS. There is no way the human body has the elasticity to absorb a 7-8in diameter hole. Quit trying to poke holes into people and waiting for them to bleed.
