She used to be a humble florist, but one day she was pressured by her parents into entering a beauty contest.

Sunflower won, but this painted a target on her back due to who was in second place: Juliette Dearest, the wife of the ex-rockstar Luis Dearest. Furious that she lost to a human, Juliette told Luis, who then cursed Sunflower before stealing the trophy from her.

Sunflower told her parents about this, but they shrugged her off, telling her to solve the problem herself. Hurt and betrayed, she ran away from home, stopping only to rest and eat. She was eventually forced to take shelter from a storm at an abandoned power plant.

That place just so happened to be where Radi was using as a hideout. At first, he begrudgingly allowed Sunflower to stay when she promised that she'd leave once the storm passed, but that changed when he learned that not only was she cursed too, but also by the very same demon that cursed him.

After learning her story, Radi knew that he couldn't abandon someone in the same boat as him, so he allowed her to to stay with him, much to her surprise and gratitude.

Neither expected to end up falling for each other.

- Her curse involves sunflowers. You can't see it in the image, but she has sunflowers in her hair. They have a brown tint to them, so you can tell her sunflowers apart from normal ones. Her saliva and blood is replaced by sunflower nectar, and she cries sunflower oil. She can control sunflowers and manipulate their vines. The nectar from her flowers have healing properties, making treating wounds easy.

- The reason why Sunflower isn't hurt by Radi's acid and Radi isn't hurt by Sunflower's sunflowers is that, since they're cursed by the same person, they're immune to each other's curses. Of course, it took Radi some time to get used to being around Sunflower's flowers since he made a habit to avoid sunflowers.
