#self insert indulgence

Gonna be in the deep with a couple big commissions this next week, so I thought I might share a few sketches along the way so I’m not too quiet on art in the meantime! Fun fact: this sort of thing is generally how I set up looping scene animations. Establish the rough angles, then do a soft background, and a ‘grounding’ pose. From there it’s a natural flow for me - I take a lot of inspiration from the way Ghibli movies portray ‘idleness’, honestly. The little things that make a scene feel... lived in. ♡

These here are just some... insert indulgence frames I’ve been sketching on when taking breathers. Hoping to turn it into a little animated pixel scene in the long run~
