Adwin (creativity/writing): Yeah, what’s up, Em?

Emmie: What if... what if we posted a teaser of that fic you’re working on?

Griselle (logic), yelling from another room: ADWIN, ABSOLUTELY NOT. YOU AREN’T EVEN HALF-WAY DONE WITH IT YET.

Adwin and Emmie: But we’re excited!!

So as some of you know, I actually very recently came up with my own Sides. And a few of you wonderfully kind people expressed some interest in knowing more about them, so... here they are.

First, we have Griselle. 

She’s my “Logical” Side, so to speak. Her main functions are: logic, knowledge, reasoning, scheduling, thirst for learning, and a lot of my leadership tendencies come from her as well. My love for analytical work stems also from Griselle. She’s very structured and articulate. She’s one of the strongest voices in my head.

Next, I’ll introduce Adwin.

Adwin is my “Creative” Side, I suppose is one way to think of her. She’s the “inner writer” in me, so her main functions are: creativity and creative output and daydreaming. She can get pretty chatty sometimes, but it’s still kind of in a chill way (most of the time). When she gets an idea, she can be hard to keep quiet, but she really does her best to not speak over anyone. Even though she’s “daydreams”, she can also get very tunnel-vision when working on a project, and occasionally gets restless when she has an idea she wants to pursue and is being asked to wait. The majority of the time, though, she’s the most chill and is the least likely to butt heads with any of the other three.

Next up is Alexis. 

Alexis is the hardest for me to explain or pin-down, but I’ll call her main function “protection”. Her other functions include: fight or flight, social justice/sense of justice, protection of loved ones, social critic/cynic. She is the fiercest of my Sides in the sense that she is the most likely to challenge someone to a fight and will absolutely throw hands (almost always in defense of someone else). She’s also the sassiest and curses the most of my Sides and also has the shortest patience and temper. She has strong opinions and is incredibly protective. Alexis is also the youngest.

Finally, we have Emmie.

Haha Griselle would say “don’t encourage her” in which case Adwin would quote Roman and be like “no, DO encourage me!!” much to Emmie’s amusement. Alexis would be laughing at the look on Griselle’s face, probably.

Griselle (logic, learning): Earth Bending
