omg amazing question 😭 my taste is pretty main stream netflix unfortunately KSSJSKSKJ i don’t get a heap of time to watch stuff unfortunately, but some of my recent faves have been the last of us, daisy jones and the six (was a bit eh but thats because i had read the book previously and noticed changes) shadow and bone (for the crows storyline) anndddddd an for an easy watch sitcom, abbott elementary

honestly? i haven't really watched anything lately since the last of us stopped airing (which i would 100% recommend).
other recent shows i've enjoyed are abbott elementary and ted lasso (slowly getting through s2!). both great comedies/feel good shows. abbott elementary is really great if you're like me and brooklyn nine-nine left a huge whole in your heart you're desperate to fill 😭
my top recommendation is probably fleabag. it came out in 2016 but i still think about it constantly. some of the best tv i've watched in a while! if you want good writing and great characters and relationships mixed in with some hilarious moments that's your show.
two shows that might not be everyone's cup of tea but i will recommend anyway: the musketeers (especially if you were a fan of bbc's merlin, you'll notice a few familiar faces) and the wheel of time (i'm a big fan of the books and although the show is different in some aspects, it still scratches that nostalgia itch. if you're a fan of fantasy, especially female-led fantasy stories, you might like this one).
