The TMSOURCE Secret Santa Event is a chance for you to share your love for our fellow fans and beloved show! Everyone who participates will be assigned another fan to create a gift for and will also receive a gift from someone else. This gift exchange is open to any kind of creative gift that can be shared online, including (but not limited to) fanfic, gifsets, graphic edits, fan videos, fanart, or anything else of similar energy, effort, and love. You are encouraged to contact your gift recipient anonymously to help you get to know them and create a gift especially meant for them!

🎁 — Fill out the signup form. 🎁 — Create a gift for your assigned recipient to be posted on December 31, 2025. 🎁 — Send your giftee anonymous asks at least once a week.

NOVEMBER 17 Gift recipients assigned

NOVEMBER 17 - DECEMBER 30 Get to know your gift recipient and create your gift!

DECEMBER 31 Post your gifts! Make sure to tag your recipient and use #tmsecretsanta2025 and #tmsource so we can reblog your gift here!

Q: What kinds of gifts are accepted? A: Anything that can be posted and shared online! Feel free to get creative and check the previous exchange tags (secret santa 2022, 2023) for an idea of what gifts people have made. Q: Does my gift need to be The Mentalist themed? A: Gifts should have some Mentalist related element, yes! That said, you are encouraged to learn more about your recipient by sending ANONYMOUS asks and are welcome to incorporate some of their other interests into your gift to create something truly personalized to your recipient! Q: What if something happens and I can no longer participate? A: We understand that life happens! We want to make sure everyone who makes something also has something made for them, so please let us know as soon as possible if you don't think you'll be able to complete your gift. That said, please be committed to participating if you sign up.

Please be willing to have your ask box open to anonymous asks for the duration of the event (through December 31).

REMEMBER that you must not reveal who your recipient is until you post your gift on December 31!
