What's your favorite culture medium and why?
hmm.. tough choice. i’m gonna go with MSA (mannitol salts agar). thus far in undergrad, it’s been the most helpful with micro projects (we do a lot of unknown identification at my school). here’s a picture i took from a project last semester, identifying unknown organisms from my toothbrush. instant staph aureus confirmation.
