The Selection, by Kiera Cass.

I love that series to death, honestly. It's a really interesting idea, and an amazing world, and I would die for Maxon, and all that jazz. Beautiful book series. Beautiful story. So many pieces of it have stuck to me, integrated themselves into my belief system, become a part of me.

But I never need to read the first book again. I gained what I needed, loved what I had to, committed to everything.

I enjoyed the first book thoroughly, and then moved on. I love The Elite, and The One, and the second series too, and I just. I don't need to read the first book again. I've gotten all I need to out of it, and even though I loved it, I'm done with it.
