okay hear me out, a draco x reader where you're both on Slytherin but never have talked to eo really, both your friends groups didn't really care about eo that much. One day you were late to the DADAA class and the only available spot was next to Draco at the back of the class. You didn't say hi to him and neither he did. You spent the class writing what the professor said until a moment that was just an explanation. You were completely bored and so was him who got his face leaning onto his right hand and his left was on the table. You couldn't resist but look at his hand for a moment, his beautiful rings catched your attention and you were looking at every detail, it really suited him. In a moment of nonsense you extent your hand and with your index finger you trace that beautiful snake ring he had on his ring finger, amazed by it. Draco pounced and so you did while rapidly putting your hand back and looking at him with your cheeks red as cherries. He got a confused yet embarrassed look in his face.
"what-" he started saying with a raised eyebrow.
"I- sorry I just- your ring- I liked it" you stuttered a bit, completely embarrassed by what you just did.
His face softens as he chuckled, his eyes now again to the front of the class. You face palmed yourself and got back to pay attention to the class too, your face still burning in embarrassment.
*the next day while having breakfast at the great hall*
You were drinking a cup of chai tea while talking to your best friend Daphne, complaining about the classes your having today. At that moment, the owls started to arrived at the great hall, all of them with packages or letters in their peaks. You saw your owl with some letters from your parents so you took it from her peak, giving her a piece of bread after and then stroking her head. After your owl left, another one arrived in front of you, you looked really confused but still took the little black box it had in its peak, you also gave the animal a piece of bread before it flew away.
You and Daphne looked confused, who would have sent you that?
"What is that? Open it" she said
You shrugged and then procede to open it, inside the box, there was a beautiful shining silver snake ring. You opened your mouth a bit, in complete shock, you looked up to Daphne who was amazed by its beauty. Suddenly your face turns red. Daphne laughed a bit by that.
"So you know who gave it to you?"
You nod at her while looking around trying to find who, you supposed, gave that beautiful ring to you. You found him, he was already looking at you, he smirked while raising one of his blonde eyebrows, your face got redder and you avoid the eye contact by looking at the ring again, grabbing it and putting it on your ring finger, just like him. And by the rest of the day you couldn't stop smiling.
