I work as a CNA and I hear stories of how the residents don't get any visitors from their children and I am thinking to myself HOW can those children that put their parent in a nursing home not visit them, WHO took care of you when you were little and could not take care of yourself and needed your parent the most who raised you maybe even alone and you disrespect your parent when they need you the most now, that makes me sick. I hope karma gets you back when you are elderly in a home wondering where your children are to visit.
