The question drew his attention from his meal, turning his head to meet the eyes of the person who spoke. A quick glance at her told him a bit about her, particularly that she might be a potential client. So, immediately a smile was curling the corners of his lips, nothing more than polite. “Ah, that obvious is it?” He questioned with a slight laugh, taking a moment to use a piece of cloth to brush at his face to make sure nothing was stuck in his beard. And then once more his attention was on her. “Take a seat, please.” He gestured across from him, using his left arm to gently push his side to the side as he was mostly done with it anyway. He was glad he managed to finish most of his meal, business on an empty stomach was pure pain for him, and it made him easier to deal with. “Can I do something for you, young lady?”

Stirring from his thoughts as Sigyn stroked her hand down his back, soothing him in a way only she and his mother seemed capable of, he turned to her and smiled. “Forgive me sváss.” Taking her free hand, he kissed the back of it. “I hope I didn’t worry you.” This was good news, they had been trying for some time now and he did want a family with Sigyn, he shouldn’t be ruining this moment with his fears. “We should celebrate.” Standing, he gently pulled Sigyn with him and planted a chaste kiss on the corner of her lips. “I cannot wait to meet our little one.”

“Nothing controls me. I control them.”

     “... What is that?” 

Sweeney’s head pounded and his vision was covered in white splotches when he came to.  The smell of alcohol, and possibly vomit, clung to his clothes. No doubt, it created an awful bubble of foul smelling odour that he was sure the woman was getting quite well acquainted with. ❝ -- wouldn’t be the first, ❞ He replied between audible groans, as the leprechaun pushed himself into a seated position. His memory was just about as hazy as his vision, but snippets of the night before were starting to come back ... something about a selkie and more than a few bottles of whiskey? ❝ --- you make it a point kickin’ a drunk man while he’s down..? ❞

now he feels he does not do ENOUGH to maintain the santity of the realms . he dreams of ragnarok and it will come .      instinct and intuition tells him that it will .      ❝  i do not seek recognition for a duty i have SWORN to uphold . an oath that i have promised .   ❞  deep down that is not what she meant and he knows it , but facing it head on is a deep conversation the thunderer is not quite ready for .
