One could run from someone they feared, they could also opt against all odds and try to fight someone they hated. However, all his reactions were geared toward those kinds of killersâthe monsters, the enemies. But alas, no matter how deadly or treacherous the situation may be, never once has Sehun fled from a battle, not unless it was absolutely mandatory to do so. Most of the time, heâs chosen to stay until one victor had emerged, and that  was none other than himself.
Nonetheless, on this cold and lonely night, he found himself sitting in the darkened area of the tavern with a martini glass wielded in his hands. He isnât much of a drinker, but he presumed that this would be something that could ease the throbbing sensation that lingered near his pupil. He has a black eye, and that was simply because he had dropped his guard earlier today; it was a foolish thing to do, but he managed to come out having finished his mission. âWay to go, Sehun,â he muttered underneath his breath, sarcasm was hinted in his voice as he spoke. Heâs upset for letting such a thing happen, yet all he could hear was the distinct laughter of his brother in his head; which had infuriated him more than he already was. In result, his grasp around the wine glass tightened until it burst within his hold, sharp fragments of glass sprawled over the table.
                                âWhat a shiner!âÂ
His peak on concentration had came to an end upon the voice of another trailing into his ears; the words that spewed past the strangerâs lips was the last thing he wanted to hear tonight. Heâs well aware that an ebony tint was painted around the circumference of his eye, and he didnât want to be reminded of such an degrading thought. âShut the hell up,â he said. Sehunâs always been hostile towards the public, and itâs been a trait thatâs stuck with him ever since he was six. But there was not much he could do about it.Â
After a long and tiring day of working in the field, the consulting detective was in dire need of a strong drink. Considering heâs made no progress on the current investigation heâs looking into, he just needed something to get his mind off of things. Which is why he decided to walk into the first tavern he spotted. Upon entering a quaint, local establishment, he observed that it was a quiet night, filled with a small crowd scattered all around the premises. Seeing how he wanted to enjoy his beverage in solitude, he moved towards the far end, where only a few patrons resided.
That was when he noticed it. Despite the atmosphere being lax by the dimming lights, Woobin couldnât help but exclaim âWhat a shiner!â towards the unsuspecting male patron. What happened next was completely unexpected. The twenty-four year old watched the other male react rather violently by his sudden outburst. Apparently the detectiveâs blatant reaction to the strangerâs black eye caused the stranger to shatter his wine glass in a vice grip, all the while earning Woobin a contemptuous comment.
Judging by his temperamental behavior, the guy probably had a bad day too. Â Raising a challenging eyebrow towards the stranger, he casually shrugged his haughty remark off. âSorry for the abrupt comment, but damn. Thatâs a shiner. You should probably get that checked out soon,â Woobin casually pointed out. Whether the stranger chooses to accept or decline his advice that was entirely up to him -- he wasnât going to try and convince him otherwise.
