She questioned with a gentle smile adorning her face.

Riful was used to looking out of place. With her barefeet and ratty white dress, most people assumed she was some kind of street brat. However, in this place, she didn't really stand out. There were plenty of people who looked like her. Unfortunately, her appearance wasn't the only reasons she stood out. People didn't know what they were feeling or why, but most people tended to avoid the girl when they could.
The girl was an awakened being, a terrifyingly powerful monster. While a normal awakened being felt chaotic but not dark, Riful's aura was pitch black. The girl didn't think she was evil, but that's how the world viewed her. As such, people didn't just avoid her because she was powerful, but because she was evil feeling.
The girl was currently sitting in a restaurant. She felt something very different in the area. Her powerful sixth sense allowed her to notice that much, but nothing else. She shifted nervous and took another bite of the meat that she had ordered. She let her own aura trickle out, trying to find the source, but this only served to mostly clear out the restaurant. People began to feel ill or scared. This was what always happened with her, it seemed.
