Mild Rant....
I know I haven’t really talked a lot about my characters outside of asks and short stories, so today I’m gonna expand on my two fav characters that I absolutely love from the button of my heart.
The first is Mikan Sakura and the other Naira Marigold and what I love about these two is not only the storyline I created for them but also there personality and background in general.
Mikan is from a story that is turning 9 years. I haven’t started it yet. Characters, plot, world-building, and conflict is all in order and prepared but the intro? The prologue?
I’m divorcing that responsibility.
Mikan is a 16year old girl from Australia. She travels around the world meeting new people and immersing herself in different cultures and stories.
Everything takes a dark turn when the fire nation (Hell) and the light nation (Heaven) attacks. The electric nation (AI) joins in halfway through the fight and Mikan tries her best to protect everyone and mankind.
Why? Find out more on a different post.
She’s very intelligent, hardworking when she wants to be, and has a deep love for food, family, and friends, or how she calls it the “3 F’s”.
I love how she grew over the past 9 years of her creation, from being a moody 10-year-old to a somewhat mature 16-year-old to becoming an immature 16-year-old before I finally settled for a 15-year-old with wild mood swings. she's really changed.
she had shark teeth before I removed that and she was supposed to be a nine-tailed fox before I changed that also. Now she sees spirits unconditionally and plays musical instruments when others want to see the spirits too. She’s very good on Halloween.
too laid back for people’s liking, observant, calm and collected yet can be quite humorous. a bit too OP when it comes to fight scenes but I like strong girls in stories. She’s a time traveler and in the story, has other versions of herself (from different universes) help her in battle.
all in all, Mikan is a down to earth kind of gal and I love her to death.
She dies numorous times but, again, that is for a different post.
