The monk was privy to many voyages, typically of his own choice and to the chagrin of the other monks. So he was very thankful for his current opportunity — being far from the shojin monastery and nestled in the heart of a forgotten grove, accented by a beautiful overlook and an accompanying hotspring. If he had the capacity, the visual marvel would be otherworldly, but that was one gift he was not afforded.
He took the opportunity presented to him, helping himself to the calming and even magical waters of this extremely rural area. The monk had brought plenty of accoutrements, some being perfect for bathing; soaps, towels, everything he could need here. Considering himself alone, Lee was bare and comfortable beneath the water's surface, lulled into a sense of serenity by the atmosphere of the spring.
Though he had expected to be alone during his stay here, he certainly wasn't surprised the moment he heard another approach.
