Genesis seems utterly bored, only training to pass the time. Both Angeal and Sephiroth are out on missions, leaving him with no one to hang off of or bother until they return. That's fine. He could use the downtime. It seems like ShinRa's been pushing him more and more lately, and while he knows he ought to feel proud of that, there's some part of him that's deeply unsettled. Why would they push him to his limits and then suddenly have nothing for him for weeks at a time?

He doesn't know. He doesn't care (or, well, he says he doesn't, but he always will). Thinking about it makes him angry, obvious by how the practice dummy is little more than shreds hanging off of the pole. Genesis sighs, pushing his hair out of his eyes and grumbling to himself before he turns around, surprised to see that he apparently has company.

"That's not what I meant!" Zack said hastily, holding his hands up in the air in a defensive position. "I'm just saying that -- for me -- swords and fists are the way to go. I know you're great with a knife and with your whole ice thingy, but please, please don't throw toddlers around. That's. That's bad."
