Seductive Rose 🥹🥹🥹
I love him sm
Look how pretty they are
I'm not even at season 3 I just love the design so deeply
This was my diva/king before Ruin
So, I just had a random thought for Seductive Rose from Origins of Olympus, the person, not the sword. As we all know in popular media, when someone absorbs a power, they either get a temporary or permanent sign of that power, depending on how long they have it, and in OoO, Seductive Rose has the ability to absorb and take powers, so it would be a fun bit if SR got a physical representation, like for example, he absorbed power from someone with fire powers, his finger tips would become a darker shade of purple making it look as if they were charred from that fire, and canonically speaking, he did absorb magic from River/Jakey, the King of the East Sea, thing is, River is tied to dragons, so it would've been interesting if SR got the antlers and tail of an Eastern Dragon, to match the stolen powers. In this case scenario though, there will be a limit of the physical representations of stolen powers, so he doesn't end up looking like an amalgamation, instead keeping that seductive vibe he always has.
Any Origins of Olympus fans out there? 🤍

"I’ll tear your family friendly ass to bits!"
"I’d like to see you fucking try!"
Oop they fightin
Vanny finds this very entertaining, meanwhile Nightmare Moon is making sure Seductive Rose doesn’t try to tear Audrey apart.
The Parallels of the Seductive Rose and Mors
So this is something I’ve been thinking about since OoO, but I kept my mouth shut on it since people weren’t up for hearing Mors character analyses (honestly a sizable chunk of the fan base still doesn’t, part of why I moved away from Twitter lol). But anyways, back on track.
Mors and the Seductive Rose parallel each other. In OoO, they’re both portrayed as powerful, destructive beings who indiscriminately use violence as a means to an end—with the exception of one character (for SR it’s Xiphos, for Mors it’s Korina). They both end up pushing away their loved ones— but while Mors eventually chooses to apologize and make amends with Korina, SR continues on the path of violence against his brother’s wishes. Their stories are meant to be two sides of the same coin, in a sense.
Now onto the episode of Korina’s Origin that originally spurred this: Zeratino. Here we see an exchange between Thanatos and SR, where Thanatos reveals that his fate was supposed to be different. Xiphos was supposed to die, and Zeratino was supposed to move on from that and end up becoming a kind and compassionate leader. (Sounds an awful lot like what happened with Thanatos’ death and the ending of Mors’ POV in OoO, doesn’t it?) However, Zeratino instead goes to Hera, who circumvents fate and prevents Xiphos’ death, turning both of the brothers into her weapons of war.
Now this may be a stretch, but Xiphos needing to die for Zeratino to become a better person sounds a lot like the fate that Atropos had for Thanatos. And just like with Xiphos, the fates of Thanatos and Mors were changed, though that makes me wonder what the cost would be…
In other words, I’m worried about what the future holds for Mors.
