And they said #HipHop was a fad, and it wouldn't last. This was really the talk when I was growing up. I believed differently. Now HIP HOP is global. It went from underground to a mainstream TAKEOVER. It's too good to deny when you're inside the rhythm, and the lyrics CONNECT with your entire being. There's NOTHING like it. I'm not a purist, so I've appreciated the evolution of Hip Hop. Mainstream Hip Hop is in an interesting place to say the least, but the underground scene is STILL full of BARS, it still speaks to the community about things that truly matter and the beats are SLAPPIN! Where would I be without HIPHOPHIPHOP 🙌🏽🏆✨#GlobalHipHopDay #SedgwickAndCedar #Repost @remyma ・・・ 1520 Sedgwick Ave. The birthplace of hiphop...
