I spent the car drive stitching my pins down to my bag. Two of them didn't have the metal loop to stitch through so those I just left as is but the rest of them worked great! I didn't want to hot glue my pins which is the most common recommendation I found when it came to securing pins so they don't fall off but I personally think this worked much better!
