We have no running water due to the typhoon
And electricity is on and off so it’s getting rough. We bought alcohol at the mall yesterday. A bottle of Bacardi rum is 250 pesos (5 USD) and I think it’s so cheap because it’s from Cuba. Interesting. Last night we had a bonfire and it was so much fun. Just got out of my meeting with my sector manager and he was just trying to get a feel for what I would like my job and final site to be. I said preferably near other volunteers, and in an urban setting. Also that unlike a lot of other CRM people I wouldn’t mind working in a government office setting as opposed to technical natural science stuff or snorkeling. He told me my Tagalog conversational skills are magaling (very good). Sige sige!
