Hello all! So, I'm going away with the fam and I don't expect to have any access to WiFi so at some point today I'm gonna go poof. :( Most likely a full week of an internet blackout for me. I'll be unreachable (to everyone but my immediate family who is coming with me *slightly hysterical laughter*) Here's hoping I make it back fine! I am unlovely and unkempt, crave layers like some men crave gin, thick and warm and close to justified. Seasons in New England are exactly what they say, but sometimes I still prefer the three months of brutal summer, deafening insects, the skin I cannot shed--the smug surety that when I wake with your body pressed to mine, it is not warmth but want that calls you to me.

Fourth draft. I may or may not be finished with cramming things in there, now; I haven't touched the language or form yet, but I'm not sure if I actually want it to be consistent--I've been doing a lot with consistent syllable counts and I am starting to feel like it's automatic, and I'd prefer it to be a deliberate choice.
