If Pingu-Man were in a video game (like Pac-Man Ghost Arcade), he would be considered a second player. In all Pac-Man games, he's always alone on his adventures, so I had the idea to add a companion.

Pingu-Man has powers and attacks.

Double Jump:

Pingu-Man can double jump, unlike Pac-Man who can only jump once.

Illuminated:

Pingu-Man has a special power. The Pac-Man mark on his belly can illuminate him, lighting up dark places like caves or the depths of the abyss.

Icy Winter Dive:

Pingu-Man can go into very glacial waters, as he is a penguin, and penguins can withstand icy waters. Pac-Man cannot; he can only dive into warm waters.

Gliding Through the Air with Blacky:

Blacky can carry Pingu-Man through the air to land in places that are quite high up.

Mega Pingu-Man:

 ... The fuck is this?

For fun and to help me get in the writing mood, I’m going to post random out of context commentary for some of my fics and see where my thought process goes while giving you guys something to look forward to. Here we go:

Second Player (Cuphead one-shot for Bad Things Happen Bingo)

- I really hope I spelled “parry” right.

- *looks up trope “I ain’t got time to bleed” to see if I’m missing anything. 

- How to convert King Dice battle to literature...

- C’mon, Jessica, you need to make sure the ending is a vivid image along with some haunting words that compliment it.

Guide to the Other Side (Self-Indulgent Beetlejuice one-shot starring Emily Deetz and Beetlejuice!)

- Your beginning is so good, Jessica. Channel the original Beetlejuice film vibes with sprinkles of the musical.

- It’s been a while since you wrote for BJ and this is technically a AU what-if scenario, so do something original.

- Make sure action sequence is realistic. Remember: Emily = Movie Barbara and Lydia 

- Beetlejuice and Emily friendship gradual burn (Technically it might be a slow burn, but it’s one-shot, steady, and a misunderstanding/communication)

- Practice writing for Emily and her backstory (includes her relationship with demon OC Mintaka)

Legends Over The Horizon (Prologue of Twisted Wonderland multichapter fic)

- aka “How To Write A Decent Chapter with an amnesiac non-binary character in a third-person limited POV while keeping it mysterious and dream-like)

- Channel the Moana vibes in this

- FORESHADOWING

- Action Sequence Hope and Prayers, Part 2

- C’mon, this is supposed to be the easiest chapter to write!

Monster Game Night (Chapter 1 of main Poker Night 3 AU fic)

- Started outlining this fic in particular using the three Act story outline from my Writing Class. It really helped. 

- First time writing roommates and writing a genderfluid character.

- Remember the setting

- the transition from scene to scene needs to be smooth

- FORESHADOWING, the Sequel!

- This is also supposed to be the easiest chapter. wHY--

Seven Deadly Vices (Chapter 4 of Seven Deadly Vices AU fic for Sam and Max)

- Edited the beginning paragraphs AGAIN

- Just trying to connect point A to B

- Seine’s Chapter... SO MAKE SURE IT’S PERFECT

- Seine is more than what he seems to be

- Don’t go too far off the rails. Save the juicy Seine content for other fics
