Princess Louise and Prince Leopold were the 6th and 8th children of Queen Victoria and were incredibly close. Leopold had hemophilia, a condition where the blood fails to clot causing any small bump or wound to be fatal and deadly. It was also very painful and had attacks and caused the person other health problems and severe pains. Prince Leopold was very shy and his hemophilia was very painful to him. He needed to use a walking stick often and needed to lean on things when taking photographs because it hurt to stand upright. Because of his illness, Queen Victoria kind of neglected him because 1. She wasn’t the best mother, and 2. She didn’t know how to make him feel better and how to take care of him. Princess Louise was like a second mother to Leopold. She took on the initiative of helping Leopold and taking care of him when he was sick. They had a strong bond that helped Leopold live.

Christine was so excited! She was puttering around the room that Dean allowed for her to make into a nursery and classroom, setting up the books that Castiel had given her and had steadily been bringing in to her. She had also been painting a mural on one of the walls. A pack of wolves were together on a hill under a tree under a rainbow. Some were playing, some were resting, some where old some were young. But they were pack. Currently she was standing on a ladder and painting in the sky the colors of the rainbow. Someday she hoped to add to the pack with her own pup but she’d have to find an Alpha first. In the meantime, she would be proud to help educate and care for the packs pups.

I miss you every day. I can see how your hands shaped everything that I do. From how I reach out to help others to how I draw the stars. I miss you making me breakfast before school. Something so simple yet it made me feel so loved. I miss talking with you for hours in your reading room. God how I wish I could just have five more minutes with you. Sometimes I swear I can see you in the grocery store. Or that I hear your voice when life gets hard.

I figured out how to call my Aussie mum! We’ve been trying to call each other since this started, but they make it so complicated. I figured out I just need to omit a zero. Of all the fucked up...anyway, now I can talk to her over the phone when times align.
That is huge. She’s still my mother and I’m still her daughter. I haven’t heard her voice in seven years.
