James Madison was born on March 16, 1751 in Port Conway, Virginia Colony, British America. His parents were James Madison Sr. [1723-1801] and Eleanor Rose "Nelly" Conway [1731-1829]. He had eleven [11] siblings: Francis Taylor Madison [1753-1800], Ambrose Madison [1755-1793], Catlett Madison [February 10 - March 18, 1758], Nelly Conway Madison [1760-1802], William Taylor Madison [1762-1802], Sarah Catlett Madison [1764-1843], unnamed brother [1766], Elizabeth Madison [1768-1775], unnamed brother [1770], Reuben Madison [1771-1775] and Frances Taylor Madison [1774-1823].

In 1794 he married Dolley Todd [1768-1849]. James Madison never had a biological child, but he did have a stepson, John Payne Todd [1792-1852].

James Madison was the 4th President of the United States [March 04, 1809 - March 04, 1812], the 5th United States Secretary of State [May 02, 1801 - March 03, 1809] and a Founding Father. He was a co-founder of the Democratic-Republican Party.

He held two [2] other offices. The first as a Delegate from Virginia to the Congress of the Confederation [November 06, 1786 - October 30, 1787]. The second as a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Virginia [March 04, 1789 - March 04, 1797].

He served in the Virginia Militia in 1775 where he was a Colonel.

Thomas Jefferson was born on April 13, 1743 in Shadwell, Virginia, British America. His parents were Peter Jefferson [1708-1757] and Jane Randolph [1720-1776]. He had three [3] brothers: Peter Field Jefferson [1748], unnamed [1750] and Randolph Jefferson [1755-1815]. And six [6] sisters: Jane Jefferson [1740-1765], Mary Jefferson Bolling [1741-1817], Elizabeth Jefferson [1744-1774], Martha Jefferson Carr [1746-1811], Lucy Jefferson Lewis [1752-1810] and Anna Scott Jefferson Marks [1755-1828].

In 1772 he married Martha Wayles [1748-1782]. Together they had six [6] children: Martha "Patsy" Jefferson Randolph [1772-1836], Jane Randolph Jefferson [1774-1775], unnamed son [May 28- June 14 1777], Mary "Maria or Polly" Jefferson Eppes [1778-1804], Lucy Elizabeth Jefferson [1780-1781/2] and Lucy Elizabeth Jefferson [1782-1784/5]. Thomas Jefferson also had six [6] children with his slave Sally Hemings [c.1773-1835]. Harriet Hemings [1795-1797], William Beverley Hemings [1798-after 1873], daughter (possibly named Thenia Hemings) [1799], Harriet Hemings [1801-unknown], Madison Hemings (possibly James Madison Hemings) [1805-1877] and Eston Hemings (possibly Thomas Eston Hemings) [1808-1856].

Thomas Jefferson was the 3rd President of the United States [March 04, 1801 – March 04, 1809], the 2nd Vice President of the United States [March 04, 1979 - March 04, 1801], the 1st United States Secretary of State [March 22, 1790 - December 31, 1793] and a Founding Father. He was a Democratic-Republican.

He held five [5] other offices. The first as a Delegate from Virginia to the Continental Congress [June 20, 1775 - September 26, 1776]. The second as the 2nd Governor of Virginia [June 01, 1779 - June 03, 1781]. The third as a Delegate from Virginia to the Congress of the Confederation [November 03, 1783 - May 07, 1784]. The next as the Minister Plenipotentiary for Negotiating Treaties of Amity and Commerce [May 12, 1784 - May 11, 1786]. Then as the 2nd United States Minister to France [May 17, 1785 - September 26, 1789].
