Ten years ago today, Shion got neutered! Sebastian liked him a lot better after that, as he remembered how traumatizing his own neuter was. Having gone through 3 different neuters, I have to say that Shion's was the easiest. He spent most of the day asleep.
Seb was the funniest. He was a limp noodle and didn't move all day. Chewie was fine an hour after he came home, because there's no time to rest when there's food & treats to eat!

8 years ago today, Shion got neutered! Sebastian was an absolute limp noodle after his surgery, so he offered Shion some cuddles. My floofy demon child was fine within an hour of coming home tho :P
I'm glad I had Seb as a blueprint because I watched Shion go from curious baby to the lil shit we know and love today. I counted down the days until he was old enough to be neutered. Everyone said that he'd become much more mellow after the surgery.
I mean technically, he did! Just like 8 years later lol
Nyx's first love, Sebastian, had CLEARLY been a house rabbit his whole life. He always relaxed by my feet, or wherever I needed to be walking.
He also loved playing with bottle caps! I'd roll them, and he'd chase them and nudge them as though he was playing soccer!
I often woke up to him loafing by my pillow. I learned so much about rabbit care from living with him, and still miss him. But if he hadn't crossed the Rainbow Bridge, I never would've met Chewie!

2015.05.09: Throwback to when Shion had a friend for 3 minutes! Seb & Shion would nap together all the time before Shion's hormones kicked in.
"He'll stop being aggressive when he's neutered," they said. 6 years later, and Shion has a new orangey boy twice his size to antagonize! At least he's mellowed out towards me. Mostly.

01/14/2015: Baby Shion followed Big Bun (Sebastian) everywhere. He mimicked Seb’s movements, and was always not far behind. I remember panicking because I couldn’t find Shion...only to find him curled up on the other side of Seb. That should give you an idea of the ridiculous size difference between the two!
It was mostly fine between the two of them for the first month or so. When Seb started chasing & mounting Shion (who was still a teeny baby), I decided to get him neutered.
