I decided to switch the buns yesterday for funsies, and Shion did his damnedest to poop on as much surface as he could manage! Nyx got to be closer to the fan in the crate, but she was SO angry when I put her back in the pen and it smelled like Shion.

He's so small that I couldn't see him at all in the buncam unless he was in the litter box or about to jump up/down from the box. He's much more of a percher than Nyx is, so did this frequently! Whenever I come down to see Nyx loafed on top of the box, I am shocked. She's more of a cave dragon sorta gal.

The first time I told Shion I'd be right back tonight, he was too preoccupied with his food to care. He waited SOOO patiently for his dinner, as we did a shitton of cleaning today and I had a late dinner due to my cramps absolutely kicking my ass.

The second time, I told him that I was going to the bathroom. I turned around and he was already halfway across the kitchen. He really said, "No WE'RE going to the bathroom." So we did :)

Unfortunately for Nyx, she was up when Bun Grandpaw decided to broil some lamb and she got to experience a smoke alarm! She rates this experience 0/10. Both the meat and the queen were fine! She mostly just flattened herself. If it had been Shion, he would've bolted and stomped. Maybe screamed (he's done this).
