SEBS strengthens to recent high in Ahmedabad
SEBS closed at Rs 320/kg in Ahmedabad on 13 August, gaining Rs 9/kg from Rs 311/kg on 6 August. Indian SEBS prices advanced after several sessions of unchanged trading, first moving to Rs 318/kg and then reaching Rs 320/kg. The latest level is Rs 7/kg above the Rs 313/kg assessment recorded on 30 July, keeping the fortnight trend firmer while daily movement remained limited for most of the period.
The monthly picture is positive but measured. Prices were Rs 316/kg on 14 July, leaving a Rs 4/kg gain over roughly one month. Three months earlier, the market stood at Rs 260/kg in mid-May, while the six-month reference was Rs 197/kg in mid-February. This leaves the latest level well above earlier 2026 benchmarks. SEBS prices in India were Rs 173/kg on 13 August 2025, making the current year-on-year increase Rs 147/kg.
Indian SEBS prices have now returned to the recent high around Rs 320/kg after a comparatively stable period through late July and early August. The current six-month range extends from around Rs 197/kg at the lower end to Rs 320/kg at the latest high. Support is around Rs 311/kg, with resistance near Rs 320/kg. These levels provide clear reference points for current domestic trading.
