Silence surrounded the two after Lilia said that they needed to talk. She stared at him, waiting for whatever he wished to talk about. In truth, she just wanted to get away from him. But she has to look like an elegant lady in case any onlookers see them together. Some party guests of the banquet had gone out and noticed them. She could tell many of the guests were waiting for what would happen during this interaction.

Wanting to get out of such an uncomfortable scenario. She decided to speak in a rude and impatient voice. To let the man know that she wanted him to hurry up, so she could leave. “What is it? I don’t have all day to speak with people like you, so hurry up.” She said as she gave Lilia her signature cold stare of looking down. Her hand held fan that she held covered half her face. Only showing such eyes to many.

Surprisingly, the very male didn’t flinch by her stare. Much to her surprise since he would often do so if she did it to him. She guessed he became braver while being in the military. But she could tell that the onlookers didn’t agree with her behavior. She was not deaf while hearing the many horrid gasps and gossips from the onlookers. Many on how they did not appreciate how she spoke in such a way.

“What an arrogant lady the archduke’s daughter is!”

“She never changed!”

“How cruel can she be?!”

She ignored these words as she was use to it. Even if it pains her to hear the other’s horrid gossip about her. If only they knew the true reason for her response.

But Lilia stood his ground, even if he felt like dirt in front of her. He enjoys it to be honest. He knows he shouldn’t be feeling like this, especially with his new given title. As he should stand his ground and scold the arch lady for such behavior towards him. But he didn’t and can you blame him? He loves being scorned down upon by only her. He’s a freak and he knows it. But he finds pleasure on how she stare at him as if he was a disgusting pest in her eyes. Even if he was wasting her time. He never wants it to stop.

Even when she would show disdain towards him. Especially whenever he approach her in the past. He was always met with disgust, turned down, and denied since he was a lower military rank. The tables turned however as he is now a general. He will no longer run away like a coward. It was finally his time to approach her with not only his title, but the blessings of her parents.

Thats right. Lilia was already prepared for this moment. Originally, he was desperate to have her hand and was scared to approach her after the last time he did. So he had begged her parents for approval to court their daughter. He was denied due to his no title till he asked how he could get their approval. They said only if he gets a high title would they accept his request. And so he did even if their request was a high demand, but he did not blame them.

It would make sense for her ladyship’s parents to tell him that he needed a high title. If one wants to marry their daughter. They were worried that she would become a laughing stock if she married a low ranking person. Considering how he original was nothing special in many eyes.

Lilia didn’t want to tarnish her name because of him. Even if he was the adopted son of the current queen. He was not blood-related to them and held no actual title. He had to do something about that to gain the approval of her parents. So he became a soldier within the military and fought in many wars.

It was of course not easy. For running straight into the enemy lines. Losing men and many friends. The sacrifices that were made did he come up victorious at last. Given many awards for his heroic actions and now the title of general. Such a title as general is no laughing matter. It is a powerful title where the general is the right hand of the crown princess. That there is considered the highest title even above the archduke himself.

Even if he had gotten a powerful title. He was not blind to the fact that her ladyship in front of him hated his guts. He knew he would be declined, but knowing her parents would back him up. He decided it was time for him to finally admit his affection towards her. With that in mind, he kneeled as if pledging to her as he took her hand, startling her.

“My lady, please do me the honors of becoming my bride. I have already asked your parents and they agreed to let me have your hand in marriage. I will love you and never separate from you. As long as if you would have me,” he said with full declaration, eyeing the beautiful fae before him as he put a kiss on her hand.

(Y/n) stared at the general in absolute horror. She knew he was infatuated with her, but to think he would dare to ask her parents for her hand, and they agreed!? Her parents have no shame in throwing her away like this—to a monster to say the least! No matter how much she wants to decline him. She knows it would cause dire problems for her family. The possible action that would happen is that their title would be stripped away.

If Lilia happens to speak to the queen about it. She was not blind to know that the man in front of her was crafty as fuck!

Even if she tried, there is no escape as she must now agree to his request.

“Considering everything you’ve done? I shall accept. Of course, I hope you will take care of me as I put my entire being on the promise you made not too long ago,” she said for only lilia to hear.

Lilia was shocked that she accepted his proposal as he couldn’t contain his happiness. Without thinking, he picked her up making her shout in surprise. As he twirled her around in his arms. Happy to finally be accepted by the woman he loved.

In doing so, did the onlookers realized that the lady finally accepted their general and his proposal. Much to their shock, but were happy to know that the lady had finally accepted him in terms of way.

Oh but how they couldn’t be more than wrong. For the lady doesn’t plan to love him. She will let him love her, but never will she give her heart to a man that she hates.

That’s a promise till her dying breath, but would she be able to continue resisting the small general’s dangerous desire for her?

Fun facts about this story:

Author Chan has no idea if the title of general is an actual high title. But if Lilia in the storyline of the game was the crown princess’s right hand? Why not.

I know the general titles doesn’t work like that, but there was no actual description of what kind of general Lilia was. He was only described as a general that led the army of the crown princess. We know the crown princess is the lead leader of the war and that Lilia was one of her underlines.

It’s unclear how many generals that she had. But we do know leveran and Lilia were both the princess’s left and right hand men. Both known to be extremely important during the war. That’s why leveran went missing before the events of Lilia being given the egg.

So in this story, they hold a higher title within this fanfic. They are more likely to gain certain benefits such as being higher than the archduke family. I know that’s not how titles work. But this is a fanfic, so of course not everything will be different!

Ok, I will say this, but I do not like this motherfucker. However, I can’t help but wonder if he is the father of malleus. Many suspect he is Leveran the husband of Malleona and Malleus’s father. It is possible honestly.

Clues:

Take a close look at his ears. It’s the same as a faes. He’s not human by the obvious ear pointing. No other species matches the ears except for a fae

Next is the time when he created Night Raven College. It’s unclear or it was already mentioned that he was the one who created the place. But in the very first chapter when we came into the picture. He mentioned that never in 100 years did the mirror summoned someone outside of twisted wonderland. Meaning he is old asf.

Take a look at his lips. Not sure if it means anything. But we know in Diasomnia that the people paint their lips as the color as Maleficent’s. So he was most likely a student of Diasomnia as only faes could get in or people who are strong asf. However, Silver and Sebek’s lips doesn’t have makeup except for Lilia and Malleus. But Lilia’s is lighter than Malleus’s. The only ones who had darker lip tint is Malleus, Malleona, and Crowley.

We then come to another thought that if he is the father of Malleus, then why does he not remember and Lilia hasn’t figured it out. Lilia is important in this as he can sense things. So it would be easy for him to sense that Crowley is Leveran. It may be because of amnesia or the change in his magic. In many stories, magic can be overwritten and sometimes it can cause that person’s aura and memories to change drastically. It could mean that Leveran is Crowley who got hit by some spell by the enemies when war with the fae and humans was still going on.

Night Raven College was having its annual opening ceremony. It was an event where the school would welcome their new students. These new students were all chosen by the black carriage. Upon entering the said carriage, you would be put to sleep inside a coffin and will only be awakened after having it opened.

Once you would wake up, you would go to where everyone is waiting and walk up to a magic mirror. Where you would say your name as the mirror would put you in your respective dorm. All the leaders of said dorm would be there to welcome you once your dorm was selected. Before taking you back to where you would stay.

It was a tedious but important process for the college. Yet, all the dorm leaders could not help but be frustrated. Their headmaster had gone somewhere and hadn’t come back. Leaving everyone, including their vice dorms and their new students hanging.

A young boy with red hair who was Heartsybul’s dorm leader, named Riddle Rosehearts, looked at his new students with a pleased stare. “We're done with orientation and dorm assignments? All right, new students—let me be clear. At Heartslabyul House, I am the law. Break the rules, and it's off with your head!” He shouted at them.

Next to him was a lion man, who was the dorm leader of Savanaclaw. His name was Leona Kingscholar. He yawned tiredly without a care in the world as he lazily stared at the newcomers. “Well, that ceremony was as boring as ever. I'm going back to the dorm. If you're in Savanaclaw House, follow me.” He mumbled a bit as he was getting ready to leave.

Meanwhile, a very shady teen with glass smiled in a very ominous way. Pleased by his new students, hiding his dangerous intentions as he welcomed them. His name was Azul Ashengrotto—dorm leader of Octavinelle. “New students! Allow me to be the first to congratulate you on your achievement. As dorm leader of Octavinelle House, I am honored to have the opportunity to support you in what I hope will be a fulfilling campus experience.” He said smiling at all of them.

It then passed on to a handsome male. His name was, Vil Schoenheit, the dorm leader of Pomfiore. He looked around in mild happiness. Most of his new students as if judging their appearance were alright. Some he was pleased with, but others not so much were he would have to work on them. His attention soon shifted to where their so-called headmage originally was. Considering how long he’s been gone. He was a little “worried”. Let me rephrase. He wasn’t worried at all about where the headmage was, but he had to look like a responsible dorm leader that cared for others for the newcomers. “Hey, does anyone know where the headmage went? He disappeared midway through the ceremony...” he said.

Beside Vil was a strange device. Nobody could see what the person on the other end looked like, except for hearing their voice. The person behind the device was the dorm leader of Ignihyde. His name was Idia Shroud, but not many had seen him since he was a giant recluse. “Some headmage he is,” he mumbled through the communication device.

Beside him was a cheerful teen. He was Kalim Al Asim, the cheerful dorm leader of the fun dorm Scarabia. His energy had already made his newcomers feel welcomed by his sunshine aura. “Maybe he had a tummyache?” He said as he looked concerned.

Beside Kalim is the Ramshackle dorm leader named Yuu. He didn’t get any members, but it was fine for him. Fewer people equals fewer mouths to feed, and less of loosing any money that his adopted father, who’s a teacher here, has been giving him. He wouldn’t lose all the money he was given if no students were destroying the place he was living in. The only member besides him, which was Grim, didnt count as such. He was the first person he began living with when he came to this world. Grimm was someone he has no problems with, but with any newcomers? Yeah, he’ll have to think about that. “I honestly don’t care about that stupid bird brain. I really hoped that he got hit by a bus and is now being cooked in a stew” he said as his friends looked at him a bit concerned, but didn’t blame him after all that man caused him.

Yuu knows he might be sounding uncaring, but can you blame him? After a good amount of time living in this world. With the headmage being an irresponsible little shit? He couldn't care less about that man and how he wouldn’t have any students at his dorm. He was finally getting money and was being fed thanks to his adopted father Divus Crewel. He was finally eating and taking care of himself! Not to mention taking him to therapy after all the trauma he has gone through from being here! Yet, it didn’t last cause the doors slammed open.

SLAM

The doors to the room slammed open. Everyone looked to see that it was no other than their headmaster, Dire Crowley. “I most certainly did not!” He shouted as he walked inside with someone following behind him.

Upon Crowley’s appearance, Riddle looked a bit annoyed as did the others. “Ah, speak of the devil,” he said.

“Hey! Yuu! Doesn’t this look familiar to you on how you first came?!” Shouted a strange creature, who was on the shoulder of Yuu the entire time, but didn’t bother to say anything. Yuu couldn’t help but grumble a small yes, remembering how he came here and how this situation was like his. Grimm, who was his vice dorm leader and was on Yuu’s shoulder, noticed his friend’s distress and decided to comfort him. The boy was happy to know that Grimm was doing his best to comfort him. He had decided to pet his head as thanks. While watching the hooded person come closer to the mirror.

Many watched as the hooded person was walking towards the mirror. Yet everyone wondered why the student was barefooted with bells on their ankles. However, Yuu's eyes widened upon recognizing the sounds and the appearance of the bells. “Hold on a second…(Y/n)!? Is that you?!” He asked as he ran over catching everyone’s attention.

“Yuu!? What are you doing? Is everything ok?” Riddle asked his friend. Noticing his distress and wondering what’s happening. Riddle, who Yuu was the first to befriend a dorm leader. Quickly followed his friend who was running towards the hooded newcomer.

The action had caused a domino effect. As one by one, the other dorm leaders began following Riddle’s action. All heading to Yuu, who closed in on the mysterious person.

They were worried Yuu might harm the student. Considering how Yuu’s heart had hardened from due time of being here. They were ready for the worst. As you had reached them and took down their hood. The breath they kept in their mouth was dropped in a awe position. Everyone was shocked that the person was revealed to be a beautiful girl. They didn’t have time to dwell on her beauty as Yuu engulfed her in a hug.

Despite not being able to bask in the girl’s appearance for long. The men in the room, Yuu’s friends, couldn’t help but blush a bit. They were immediately captured by not only the girl's beauty but also how adorable she looked. Her appearance caused all the men in the room to blush at how cute she looked. While feeling a bit jealous as the girl returned the hug given by Yuu with happiness.

“Excuse me!? What is the meaning of this!? Just who is this girl and what is her relation with you, Yuu!?” Dire shouted as he went over to break the two away. He didn’t want PDA on his campus. Especially if the two were a couple. Yet he was met with being blasted away as he was confronted by a magic pen that belongs to Yuu, who glared at him angrily.

This action has of course shocked everyone, even his close friends. As Yuu normally don’t show such hostile behavior before. Even to their pathetic headmage at that, so this was the first in seeing their friend like this.

“Put that pen down now prefect Yuu! Just what are you planning to do!? Murder people in this room!?” Crowley said carefully after getting up. He held his hands up to show he didn’t have bad intentions. While slowly approached the prefect.

“I will not put this down, but I will not kill you as I don’t want to traumatize (Y/n),” Yuu said as he held the girl, who stared at him blankly but was very curious about what was happening.

“(Y/n) is that her name? Yuu, calm down, I can see your girlfriend is important to you, but please put that pen down. Before you hurt someone,” Crowley said but had only fueled Yuu’s anger more.

“Don’t call (Y/n) my damn girlfriend you damn bird-brain bastard! She’s my little sister and I won’t have her be manipulated like you did to me!!” Yuu shouted without care that his actions and words would cause some drama.

Everyone looked shocked by this as they stared at Yuu and his so-called little sister. They didn’t believe they were related at first until they noticed how the girl resembled their friend. Everyone was both baffled and shocked before finally shouting. “HUH!? SINCE WHEN DID YUU HAVE A LITTLE SISTER!??!?!??!” Everyone shouted in the room as Yuu realized he fucked up. He groaned realizing what he had done and how much shit he was in.

Meanwhile, his little sister was released from Yuu’s grip. And was approached by Grimm, who was curious about her and ended up cuddling him. Giving the monster head pats and hugs with kisses. The said creature didn’t mind as he was secretly enjoying her affection.
