As far back as I can remember, I love going to the movies. Being put into other timelines, worlds, and universes. The impossible made possible. I remember the first time I saw and heard of Stanley Kubrick and watching "2001" over and over again. Imagining how he created the famous scenes with the rooms spinning. The ominous red lights in the scene where Dave kills HAL. Then seeing "Full Metal Jacket" when I was 7 years old with my Dad (not in theaters) and falling in love with Jokers Nikon F and F2 π. Like the kid in this photo I can only imagine what it would have been to be the younger me and seeing films at @theseattlecinerama this place is a cinema lovers dream. The screen is amazing and the love they have for 70mm film is great. Yet, they have the most amazing tech for new movie screenings too. So it's the best of the old world and new world. β’ β’ β’ β’ β’ β’ β’ β’ β’ β’ #streetphotography #seattle #cinema #streeleaks #LiveTheMoment #dreamers #seattlemet #glazerscamera #streetmeetwa #seattlelife #pnw #seattle_community #streetphotographers #seattlephotographer #citylife @seattletimes @seattlemet @kiro7seattle @king5seattle @q13fox #nikonf100 #fujifilm #filmphotography #filmisnotdead #analogphotography #streetdreamsmag #70mmfilmfestival #bw #bwphotography #movies (at Seattle Cinerama Theater)
