Let’s start with one of my all time favorite beds, the rustic shelf bed from Simlogical! I’ve included both the double and single bed meshes, but if you haven’t ever been to their site (1) I highly recommend it. They have some great stuff there. ^^ These beds come in all 110 colors of the AKS Object Rainbow 4 (2). The colors/actions that have been borrowed from the talented artists that created them are thusly labeled in the color names and the accompanying "AKSOR4ObjRnbw4ColorSIs" document. (The color files are individually labeled with their original creator, palette, and name, but it's all abbreviated so check the document to fill in the missing letters.)

Here’s another interesting bed design from the first game that I never used, but upon closer inspection, I think I really like the Touch of Teak Bed. It comes in all 110 colors of the AKS Object Rainbow 4 (1). A few colors/actions are borrowed from others; each individually packaged recolor file is labeled with the original creator, palette, and name, but it’s all abbreviated so check the included documentation to fill in the missing letters.

The next bed on the list is this really space-age looking bed that I (again) never really used much before, but now I kind of want to. Also it has an extremely long name. Again. It comes in all 110 colors of the AKS Object Rainbow 4 (1). I have a small surprise for you all, I actually made two different recolors of The Soma “Sleep Well” (bed)! V1 has white wood with colored accents, v2 has colored wood with white accents. They both come in all 110 colors of the AKS Object Rainbow 4 (1). The next bed up is the absolute opposite end of the spectrum from the last bed, and was already beautiful to begin with. Yes, the leather on the headboard is white for all the recolors. It comes in all 110 colors of the AKS Object Rainbow 4 (1). And nowwwww... for the beds! One thing I learned is that for some reason, even though many of the base game beds use the same texture, they don’t share them (as far as I can tell), each bed has to have its own set of recolors. -.- Anyway, we start out with The Cheap etc etc Double Bed, companion to the Craftmeister’s Pine Bed (1) I posted earlier, and once again with MUCH nicer textures. ;^^
