I’m back with another Sears kit home that I built ages ago. This cute little number is in my Oasis Springs world rebuilt and sits on the other 20x15 lot. 

I had a lot of fun building this house because it had so much outside character with the balconies that it was a fun challenge to try and duplicate that while not using any CC. The house can be configured to have 3 bedrooms or 2 bedrooms with an office, 1 bedroom with a dining room and an office. The possibilities are pretty open. 

I don’t understand why some of the base game foundations can’t match the colors of the plasterwork. While working on this house and some of the others, I must’ve flipped between colors 800 times. Why can’t they just match!?!?

So this house is a little more expensive than the traditional starter home, but she’s just a cute home. I mean that’s worth a little more, right?

This house has been built for forever. I built it for my Oasis Springs world rebuild and then did nothing with it. It’s a Sears kit home plan from the 1920′s and it’s fairly adaptable to several styles.

As with most of the builds I did for Oasis Springs, the house is CC-free and sits on a 20x15 lot. It could be adapted for a 20x30 lot if you wanted to have more yard for it. There is also an unfinished basement off the kitchen, which does open it up for a bit more living space. 

This gem has been built and uploaded to the gallery for a while, I just haven’t shared it because I needed to get some decent photos of it. 

The original plans were a Sears kit home for a 4 apartment building that was pretty plain looking, IMO. I decided that I wanted to put it in my Willow Creek world rebuild so it would need some New Orleans charm. 

I dressed up the balconies and decided on the salmon and dark green color combo. I do love a good contrasting color palette. There’s so much energy there. That’s not to say that I don’t love more calming palettes, but after a while, they’d bore me. You should see my house. I have an aubergine family room and a magenta dining room. I just love color.
