You thought Rafael was just standing outside the inn, waiting for the perfect opportunity to steal your carrot?😄

Rafael is deeply offended. "I'm a much better thief than that scrawny thing," the bastard scoffs. "I would have taken your- OW!" he recoils, hands grabbing his shin, where Beka has kicked him with as much strength as her skinny leg allows. "What in hell!?"

Beka scowls at him. "I ain't scrawdy!" she declares, and Rafael's dark eyes narrow.

"It's scrawny, ya dimwit. Do you even know what it means?" he hisses, cheeks darkening from anger.

"I don't need ta know," Beka crosses her arms tight, dirty hair framing her face in a messy halo. "Nothing coming from those lips is good."

Rafael's hands curl, and he steps forward until he looms over the street urchin. Beka simply lifts her chin to keep eye contact. Glaring darkly at each other. And then, as if on purpose, they both sneer at the same time. Lips curling to reveal different tooth gaps.

On the way I found many posts I’d forgotten about. One of them was the one where they switched the first letters of google stuff and I read “poodle gay” instead of “poogle glay”. Which was fun. But I didn’t find the post.
