I was actually writing a longer thing for this so here you go! ^^

Cecil had had the same dream every night for as long as he could remember, so for his entire life had consisted of waking up, terror shooting down his spine and coiling in his gut with one hand stretched out in front of him, reaching for someone unknown. This town was meant to be a new start, even as the beach lapped against the golden sand, a testament to his will as the gentle waves melded together with his mothers whispered promise: The one you love will be taken by the sea. The last thing he was expecting was the man he had been silently admiring for a week, trying to pluck up the courage to talk to, to slip off of the deserted dock and into the water, skin shifting into a thick seals pelt, but Cecil was commited now, even as he felt his heart pre-emptively break in his chest.
