watches project hail mary. fucking loves it. finds out the whole thing was done with practical sets/puppets and minimal CGI. starts reading the book. gets on tumblr to see what people are saying. they are headcanoning ryland grace as aroace and talking about the power of friendship. they are calling the genre “cosmic hope”. chat we fucking won

is there a name for someone behaving like a banshee and then three posts later going “life is not being kind to me right now guys, your support means the world 🥺”

and it’s often specifically asking for your monetary support since they are so so broke. but i don’t think most people are inclined to open their wallets after being told to kill themselves, and in fact i think it’s good when we don’t reward being actively berated. anyways, wish i could help but here’s my two cents instead
