also Logan originally wanted to take Morph with him when he went for the adamantium.... did he want to let them in? did he only lie because he didn't want to seem weak to the other weapon x alumni? because to me it seems like the others were never supposed to know that he'd lost his adamantium... so maybe once they were alone he would've revealed his true plans? but then if that's the case why not tell morph that that was part of the goal ahead of time... SO MANY QUESTIONS
Username Lore Tag Game
I was tagged by @dancerinthestorm to reveal the lore behind my username! This is a super fun game but unfortunately there's no great story behind my username. I wanted something distinct from my online presence on other sites because this is where I keep my really embarrassing stuff and my other online profiles are linked to my real identity (and then I let some of my irl friends follow me on here. oops. XD devil's sacrament etc etc I guess)
I settled on seagull-energy because it's a longstanding nickname/in joke with friends (actually getting scarily close to 10 years old now... I can't remember whether it started late 2017 or early 2018) that I am secretly one of the seagulls (loud, flaps around, will ask for your food) :) so now you know!

current obsession: many things, all of them animated, but I'm really really in my Legion of Super-Heroes feels at the moment because they've FINALLY announced the artist (Hayden Sherman) and the date (September) of the new ongoing comic :DDDDD
currently reading: alas no novels at the moment, but I am about halfway through last year's Magik run of comics and greatly enjoying it!!!! The last novel I read was 'Olivia Gray Will Not Fade Away' by Ciera Burch which is a middle grade aroace coming of age story. It was very sweet, I loved it
currently working on: two things, both sparked by the Legion insanity: a 60s Saturn Girl cosplay and reanimating the My Adventures With Superman intro into a hypothetical My Adventures With the Legion of Superheroes intro. I started both of these yesterday so they're not very far along but I'm very excited :DD

THIS WEEKEND I WATCHED BOTH BATMAN 1966 AND PROJECT HAIL MARY AND THEY WERE BOTH SOOO GOOD 1) every superhero fan should watch batman 66 if they like having fun, it is SUCH a camp masterpiece!!! it has bat shark repellent and "some days you just can't get rid of a bomb" and penguin has a submarine with flippers and the batcave is entered via fireman's pole it is GLORIOUS 2) ohhhh my god guys I get it now. phm was so vast and small and beautiful and human and real and full of love and I love the way the hail mary moves and the way so many of the exterior shots looked like camera angles you get on real spaceships and gracie and rocky and their friendship AAAAA!!! I cried a lot. I need to go sit in a planetarium and cry more. This on top of the Artemis II mission is too much for my little space loving heart, I love space I love space exploration I love humanity!!!

I need to be more weird about the legion of super-heroes online
every single new episode of MAWS I'm like boy... the future sure seems to be in peril... but they're getting help from future heroes... hmmm you know what would be even better than one or two future super-teens coming back to hang out? perhaps... a whole LEGION of super-teens? :0 >:)
HI THE CRAZIEST THING JUST HAPPENED SO the X-Men Evolution character designer does fanart requests on instagram and then sells the final piece off to the requester, AND HE TOOK MY FANART REQUEST!!!!!! I requested an ultimate avengers stevenat moment (because he also designed for that movie) AND HE DID IT AND IT'S SO CUTE AND OF COURSE I BOUGHT IT IMMEDIATELY!! SO I am now the proud owner of a pencil sketch of my favorite marvel ship that I've shipped for 15 years, by the guy who character designed for NOT ONLY the only official marvel property where they're canon BUT ALSO xmen evolution which anyone who's been on my ao3 in the last year knows I'm WEIRD about, and it will be ON ITS WAY TO MY FLAT TOMORROW!!! :D it's US to UK shipping so it'll be a couple weeks, but I'M SO EXCITED
