抽漏税烟 罚款500元 (RM 1565)

只要抽或拥有漏税烟，就算只是区区一根，也将面对最少500元罚款！新加坡关税局昨午到宏茂桥展开突击行动，18名稽查员在2小时30分钟内，取缔35名违例者，起获329根漏税香烟。

突击行动展开前，关税局官员先在宏茂桥8道第710座组屋底层设立了临时指挥处，18名身穿便服的稽查人员，跟着两人一组，分头展开巡逻。在突击行动进行时，本报也在一旁直击了整个过程。

两人一组的稽查人员，目标对准正在公共场合抽烟的公众，他们会出其不意地上前表明身份，要求检查香烟，一旦发现公众身上的香烟没有印上“SDPC”的字样，稽查员就会把公众带到指挥处，展开另一轮的调查。

SDPC指的是“已经缴纳税金的香烟”，自2009年以来，本地所有合法的香烟都被印以SDPC的字样。

取缔行动进展顺利，下午4时左右开始不久，指挥处就“热闹”起来。违例者一个个被带到指挥处，被令交出身上的漏税香烟，并得解释他们是在什么情况下把漏税烟带进本地的。执法单位也现场开出罚单。

据记者观察，大多数的违例者都相当配合，在历时大约两个半小时的行动中，共有35名违例者被罚，当局也充公了329根漏税香烟。

新加坡关税局反走私与社区参与处处长杨万铭受访时表示，很多人都有误解，以为如果从国外只带一包烟回国，又或者那包烟已经抽了一半，又或已经开封，就无需支付相关的税款。

对此，杨万铭表示，对于香烟和烟草产品，当局并没有免税宽限（no duty free allowance)。如果发现上述情况，就算是一根漏税香烟，也将开出罚单。

根据相关法令，拥有漏税香烟，最低罚款500元。而罚款金将根据触犯次数和所拥有的漏税香烟数量增加。

这也意味着，只要拥有漏税烟（不管在身上或正在抽），即便只是一根，罚款也会从最低的500元起跳。

杨万铭受表示，关税局经常主办讲座和路演活动，而且几乎每天展开扫荡行动，地点包括组屋邻里、地铁站、购物中心附近。

NNPC pays N56.96bn into Federation Account in June – Report
